Didn't really know where else to ask this than Strength training forum, but I thought that it goes here the best.
For a month now hand is totally useless - I went down from 70 push ups to barely 40, I used to jump about 1000 times with rope every day, now I can't jump even 200 - left hand gets numb and hurts real bad. I've had many accidents with pulled leg muscles this summer while I was working out, but this does not feel like it. Anyways, I could try to ice it, but I know that it won't work if I don't stop to exercise with hand - which I won't cause I have only 7 days days till school and I have to improve myself as fast as possible, after that I'll have sports lessons where there's no rest as well (our teacher makes us train our butts off). Any suggestions? Maybe there are some kind of muscle ointment that might help a little or something like that?
Hand is really numb. Maybe a pulled muscle?

Get a medical aseesment. You might have some kind of Tendonitis. The common type being your basic Tenosynovitis, (Tendonitis), where the Tendon sheath gets inflamed and thickens up.
You may if this happens require something like Cortisone, or worst case scenario a tendonectomy where part of the Tendon is removed.
Assuming there's no intense pain in the wrist area, that would rule out Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
I would also rule out hairline fractures of the Ulna, and Scaphoid Bones around the wrist and base of the Thumb as well, as I don't think those are at play here, because they would probably cause intense pain immediately, not numbness I would think.
I know some of this may seem a little fancy, but it's what I can offer in the way of possible explanations.

Thanks. I actually looked up that first diagnosis and it totally fits. I'll get to a doctor as fast as possible, till then I'll just ice it so that the damage does not get any bigger.
