Re: ironman crawl
I've seen it several times. Makes me cry and it always inspires me. Those two ladies really show the true spirit of never giving up, of giving all you have, when you don't have anything left.
Of course after watching that video I spent the next hour watching other inspiring videos!
And all time favorites are the ones that feature and tell the story of Dick and Rick Hoyt (Team Hoyt). The father who's son has cerebal palsy and he runs for his son while pushing him in a wheelchair. And he does IronMans too, pulls his son in a raft 2.4 miles, then carries him on his bike and rides 112 miles, THEN pushes him in a special chair for 26.2 miles. INCREDIBLE!
I actually saw them in person once a few years ago at a half marathon I was running. They were starting with the wheelchair division - it was so cool, I was so excited just to be able to put eyes on them. The crowd roared when they were announced! Even more than when they announced the elite world record holder Kenyans who were there!

I very vaguely have heard about team hoyt but after you mentioned it, watched some videos too. Quite inspiring! They said in one video the father has the makings of being a world class endurance athlete but the father said in the video he doesn't have the competitive spirit to do that, it was his son that makes him go.
Very inspiring. It just shows anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
