I have lost 6 kg(13 lbs) in 26 days just by doing 1 hr aerobics and a good diet.
The first week i lost 6.6 lbs,the second week i lost 3 lbs,the third week i lost 3 lbs.
Will going for other exercise equipment (treadmill, bike, elliptical etc) help me loose more weight than aerobics?

It would depend on the duration and intensity.
The main thing is you're losing 3lbs a week. Anything more than 4lbs a wek could also be muscle and water not just fat, then you'd be "crash dieting", which could to some extent mess your metabolic state up and lead to potentially loose skin, as the skin struggled to reshape to the significant weekly differences in subcutaneous shape.
4lbs of Fat would only really be possible in people who were morbidly or hyper-obese, so your 3lbs is good and that's a good target to sustain each week.
The 6.6lbs in the first week, more than likely was 3.6lbs of water with your Fat.

Most of the people on the biggest loser are morbidly obese. And i would think what they do is not too healthy of weight loss.Boss Man wrote:4lbs of Fat would only really be possible in people who were morbidly or hyper-obese

Absolutely right. People losing more than 4lbs consistently, aren't doing it in a healthy way, whatever circumstances it happens.

Wow reading this helped me, I had lost 3lbs the first two weeks, going on third week this week. I was hoping to lose more weight per week. Yet now I understand that skin won't keep up with weight loss. It is frustrating to lose slowly but yet I can understand the benefit of it. Thanks Boss Man

Many good things in this life happen slowly. Speed and hast invite mistakes, mishap or problems you don't need.
Sometimes loose skin can happen with modest weekly weight losses, simply because the person has achieved a weight, that has instigated too much damage to the elasticated nature of the skin, so it cannot reshape back to original levels.
Then at or close to journeys end, surgery is usually the only choice to the loose skin problems.
Slow and steady wins the race. It might be frustrating, but if you get your end goal(s), with few or no problems to deal with afterwards, it enhances your achievement more.
