Go and see your GP again. Talk about things like Chiropractic modalities, MRI's the full works. You need to make your GP fully aware of all your issues, because if you don't, they may just agree with the current way things are headed and if that direction is not ideal, they won't be able to discuss other things, if they are not in the full picture.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The chiropractic/or is definitely an option, may be worthwhile especially for cervical spine, however im not sure if it would be classified as cosmetic, either way i guess i'll bring it up. I'll have to make an appointment within a week or just over, because the physio said to wait 2 weeks as she was writing a letter, no point going there with no real background information. I just don't have much faith in the GP's, mostly because when i went to him for a second opinion on knee issues, (not too long ago), he just simply said, you'll have to speak to the physio, there the best people to ask, didn't even want to look or examine anything or even talk about it, i feel like a lot of the time they can't be bothered as before ive gone round there, and so have family, about some pretty bad pains, and there advice - "it's inflamed, take some ibuprofen"

I feel going in there with this list of problems is just going to make me seem like, i dunno, a messer, i'll have to find out a way to incoporate it all without going, and next, then this, and that.

The physio was suggesting rhematology to do some x-rays, or possibly MRI's along with some blood tests for any inflammation signs, this is all well and good, but i can't wait months for appointments, it's just all so slow.

In other news, still have some pretty bad DOMS from the sprints, felt it was bad soreness at first like muscle had been ripped to shreds, especially obliques, but quads, hams and calves are all still sore today, and i feel i'll be better giving them another day off. That's if it doesn't rain anyway!

Does it seem abnormal to eat 3k cals a day, even without any lifting/cardio, basically low amount of exercise, i eat when hungry which is normally every 3 hours, but it always ends up at around 3k cals, not sure if im over doing it, but ive been eating at this limit for months, gained little fat, but nothing major.

A little update on the girl situation;

Went down to the store - not intentionally to see her, as i wanted to get something from there, although it happens she was there. I walked in, it was empty, completely, for a change, but there was just this 1 guy serving so i thought oh well i'll just ask him, then as we were talking she poked her head round the corner and smiled at me so fast and then turned away that i didn't even get a chance to smile back. Maybe it's concious and all in head but i didn't go down with the intention to see her and perhaps that's why i had more confidence, either way, next week i'll probably have hair cut to look a bit more fresh and perhaps balls would of grown enough to get to know her, although i woulda talked to her if it was her serving me todya, and i know that.

The 3,000 calories a day with low level activity is nothing too bad. You say you've gained a little fat, but unless the weight is slowly rising, don't be overly concerned about it, but you could try to trim it down by 300-400 calories a day perhaps.

Congrats! See? She clearly knows who you are. And she's not being creeped out otherwise she would have avoided letting you know she was there. I know how that works, considering I've been in contact with quite a few creepers in day. Creepers seem to crawl out of the woodwork around me. In fact, I've discovered I'm a huge hit with elderly, black homeless men in Chicago. Haha. I hope the next time you accidentally see her, you actually get to talk to her. c:

Haha, thanks for that image :P I hope so too, i think going there without the intention of seeing her is better anyway as if you have to make conversation and buying things for the sake of it, could make myself out of pocket :lol:

Boss - I'll try, but i find myself hungry a lot, especially at night but i be sensible as i can, normally have yogurt before bed, was thinking of buying some fibre tablets as a supplment, i was wondering if i could take them traveling with me, they would be ideal to take with you, especially if you were going out for a few hours and instead of eating junk food, have a few of them which will be around 24 cals and it'll make you full.

Good weights session today;

Warm up;
5mins skipping, 3x10 16kg KB Swings

Deadlift;
30kg x5
40kg x5
50kg x4
60kg x3
70kg x2
80kg x1
87.5kg 3x5

Bench Press;
Bar x lots
20kg x 6
30kg x4
40kg x3
50kg x2
66kg 5x5

Barbell Bent over row;
20kg x lots
30kg x4
40kg x4
50kg x3
57.5kg 4x8

Dumbbell OHP;
18KG x2 - 2x8, 1x7 - was hoping for 1x9 on the last set, but didn't manage, felt triceps couldn't push anymore.

Calves;
Standing barbell calf raise 75kg 4x10
Super set;
Standing calf raise 23kg 3x8;
lunge position calf raise 23kg 3x12
seated toe raise 10kg 3x15

Overall pretty happy, bad decent i feel on one of the reps on deadlift as i tried to mimic the RDL negative a bit too sharp, hopefully haven't injured anything.

Biggest problem and downfall was the calves, i can't feel them working with the ankle pain, it's right on heel, calves feel so stiff, but i continue to work on mobility, the barbell calf raises weren't as bad as the others, pain wise. Also neck is really aching again and feels weak.

Thought id post meals for the day too for a change;
Porridge + cottage cheese + small bit of jam;
635 cals, 33g protein, 90g carbs, 15g fat

Avocado, cous cous, mackeral in sunflower oil, can of mixed vegs - post workout;
770 cals, 42g protein, 85g carbs, 30g fat.

Cornflakes - maize (96%), and milk - 510 cals, 20g protein, 80g carbs, 12g fat

You are very welcome dear. Lol. I hope you had a good laugh. Let me tell you though, it's scary as all get out when you're walking home from Target (which is in a ghetto-y neighborhood) and you see someone and you look away and then you hear "Honey, you fine, can I take you out." and I look up to see who is being talked to and it me. Then the old man follows me for three blocks to the L station. :/ Scariest day of life, thought I was going to die or something.

There's also the time I was walking with one of girl friends and this homeless guy either just thought I was the hottest thing ever or thought me and friend were a lesbian couple and just walked up to me and says "She'ss beautiful, she f.uckin' beautiful." then tries to give me a fist bump, and when I didn't respond he goes "You ain't got' be scareda me, babe. You ain't got' be scared."

Those are just two of the around six times I've been hit on or something by old, black, homeless men. :p I don't know why they seem to like me, I'm white as milk and I act even whiter. :lol: Why can't I be that popular with young, attractive, nice guys own age?

P.S. I'm jealous of your avocado, I cannot find them here to save life. And if I manage to find some, they're over ripe and about £1.50 (or around $2.40). It's outrageous.

Haha, at least THEY try! But that's probably because they have no morals and no self displine, pretty much nothing to care about or how they'll look.

Your time will come, it shows there are people that find you attractive, although they may not be quite your type :lol: , it shows that it's confirmation that your not some alien and more than likely not as bad as you say you are, keep your head held high :wink:

That is pretty expensive for an avocado, here you can get 4 for a £1, but they are fairly small, the larger ones are more expensive and around £0.60, i hate it when they aren't ripe though, they're either as hard as hell and it's like eating rubber, but if they're over ripped, they're black, orange all sorts inside, :x

Oh yeah, Martin, you know me so well. I'm so happy that old homeless people find me attractive. :lol: I asked one of girl friends why elderly, homeless, black dudes hit on me and she just looked at me laughed and said, "It's cause' all the curviliciousness you got goin' on" Lol. It was one of those. "Thaaaanks." moments. Anyway, enough of awkward moments. Lol.

I really like avocado, so it makes me very sad that I cannot afford them. :c One avocado recipe that I miss SO much is Avocado tapas, you fill the avocado with tuna mixed with balsamic vinegar, green onions, bell pepper and a little mayo and it's AMAZING. Anyway, I'm going to continue pout about you getting to have avocados.

Wow that does sound good :wink:

Rice, 2 eggs, 2 egg whites, handful of peanuts
700 cals, 28g protein, 75g carbs, 23g fat

Seems from working out neck and pelvis/low back really suffer, although im confident in technique, it seems those body parts are either weak links, or getting really aggrivated from it :cry:

I think you should try it and enjoy it since I can't. :p I wish I were more helpful in the aches and pain department, but I've never really had any pain problems, so I have no idea what to tell you, hun.

Awesome! Have fun, I'm headed back to Chicago in September. Hopefully I'll have time to go to the Ray this year.

Where are you guys headed? Anywhere in particular or just chilling and having fun?
