Need help getting started and a problem

Post by sjoon »

I am 17 years old man and I am looking for help to build up routines

I am 220lbs, 6 feets and 3 inches.

I got army bootcamp coming up which is required for every man (with exceptions) to go through in country and I want to get into the form.

I don't really have money to go around and ask professionals on how should I go on about it.

If anyone would be kind enough I could also use some help on how to diet since I really haven't done that before in life and I think I would mess it up real bad.

There is also another problem I have. I was able to do situps 2 months ago (about 40-50 of them) in a row but today I realised that I can't even really do 1 correctly anymore and I am bit scared of that.

So if there is anyone kind enough to help me with training and dieting (I hate gyms so I prefer things I can do at home) please help me out with this cause.

I would report progress weekly (or even daily) here on this thread and I am highly motivated to do the thing.

What meals do you eat and what times of the day do you eat?

Also if you don't like Gyms, do bodyweighted stuff at home.

So you're looking at something like this.

Squats 2. sets of 10

Lunges 2. sets of 10

Press-ups. 2 sets of 10

Bent over Rows. 2 sets of 10

Shoulder Presses. 2 sets of 10

Stairs Dips. 2 sets of 10

Bicep Curls, pusing one Arm up with the opposite hand and vice versa. 2 sets of 10 per Arm.

Planks 30 seconds.

Do that 3x a week on alternate days.

Well, Basically I don't have any specific meal plans but I've kept it without junk food for a while and kept on fruits, chicken etc. I'm new to this dieting stuff and never really followed any plans. I try to keep it to 3-4 meals a day though and watch for calories.
