What's the deal with the Sea Kelp tablets, have they been prescribed for the underactive Thyroid?

I'd include another meal between the 12:00 and the 5:00 meals, otherwise you might incur some minor muscle catabolism.

Something like a Sandwhich, Low Fat Cheese, Bowl of Chicken, Mushroom, Pea and Ham Soup, goodly sized portion of Peanuts etc, as examples.

Typically such things a Doctor might prescribe are things like Synthroid, or Armour is another one I believe, though if you want to find out more try rxlist.com to see what might be prescribed options for you.

I notice you had more Sea Kelp today than usual, does the product have any specific dosing requirements, like more on certain days, or with meals for example?

I'm not trying to warn you off the tablets, just making sure you might not be overdoing it a little with them sometimes.

I would politely advise to stick to what the bottle says, because you don't know the long-term effects regarding taking 2x the amount per day.

If the bottle actually said take 3 x 2 tablets a day, I'd be inclined to think it was a con, to get you using more than is necessary; by that I mean the manufacturers would know 2 at a time would not be dangerous, but would not increase the effect of just 1 on it's own, but you'd use more than is neccessary and buy it more often.

The fact the bottle says no more than 3 x 1 tablets a day, means taking more could be a risk. It certainly can't be a con, as why tell you to take less and then get you buying it less frequently?

The doses you're taking, assuming they're not potentially unsafe in the long-term, may still be inneffective, because 2 tablets at once may do as much as 1 tablet anyway, so you'd still buy it more frequently, for no reason.

So I'd suggest taking 1 tablet 3 times a day and see what happens and if you notice any undesirable effects, go back to the 2 x 3 dosing, but if you notice no change in effect or any positive effects, stick to 3 a day.

I still think you've got wiggle room there for another meal or 2 :).

You're talking around 11:00-11:30 AM and 3:30 PM

You might be wise to consider finding things to replace some of the Tuna meals with, like Chicken, Beef, Turkey etc.

Keep some Tuna in the week by all means, but perhaps consider about 3x per week as per current guidelines.

The body can Chelate heavy metals and infact things like Trytophan and Vitamin C can boost Chelation, but to what extent someone can, would depend on their genetics to some extent, so some might be alright having 4-5 potions week, in modest portion sizes, but some might find 4 portions a week, could eventually lead to heavy metal toxicity, so 3x a week for Tuna, would be a sensible level.

When you have it, you've got options. Personally I'd limit to an amount of Tuna around 100g a day when you have it, which is 3.5OZ plus your usual Carb sources.

You could however split it into 2 x 50g Portions, then increase some of Protein content per meal, by adding things in like Mushrooms, Rice, Peas, Beans and Lentils, which have both Protein and Carbs, then add a normal Carb source in a slightly reduced portion.

So effectively you'd be getting 2 meals of Tuna a day, with other foodstuffs of choice.

Hopefully that all makes sense :).

Diet's alright. Just make sure you add some Protein in to the first and third meals. The 2 strawberries aren't really with diddly squat, so you might as well jsut keep the Banana.

Presumably, you hadn't finished eating for the dya when you posted that.
