I had a hysterectomy about 2 months ago now and I am looking to start excersising. I haven't been able to do much but sit on butt for 8 weeks!!! problem with excersing is that I build muscle super fast. I find that I bulk up, but neve lose the fat. I've been told that you have to build muscle in order to lose fat, but how do you do both without bulking out? I am having menepausal cravings that I just can't control at all. I have to have chocolate everyday, and cappacino.
Help please!

Not as far as the surgery goes, I've been given NO restrictions.
I had a pelvic injury years ago, that prevents me from doing many excercises involving the rotation of the hips. Such things as Tie Boe, karate. I prefer using the ball because the physical therapist said it's the best for injury. I do love to dance, and it doesn't seem to hurt hips.
Thanks for your help,

Doctor Jennifer advised me with a strict no for exercise till 3 months after having abdominal hysterectomy treatment. Even I am waiting for an "YES" from the doctor to start building body. I completely rely on doctor regarding any kind of health concerns because she always has been there when I was in trouble.
So, please do not go for exercise till 3 months. You can later take an advantage of it.

Just so you know, that post was actually put there over 4 years ago, so in relation to the persons personal circumstances, your comment may lack a little relevancy
.
Not to be rude, but I just feel you'd be wasting your time, commenting on old stuff posted by infrequent users, about specific circumstances.
Posting on old stuff tends to work better, in relation to generic topics like abortion, the death penalty, war etc.
Just trying to save you time and effort that's all
