Hey Juan, just a couple things to consider. I heavy bag needs hung from either the ceiling or a unit designed to hang it. Believe me if you plan on hanging it from the ceiling, prepare for repairs. If you hit it enough it WILL do structural damage to your building. A unit designed to hold it is portable, somewhat, and saves your roof, but can get in the way when using kicks. The stand alone is ok, but it can get upset too easily. These are all things to consider.

You can buy those cheap ones that look like a Basketball on a spring and come with a long rubber strip on the end, that you can stand on and stabilise the bag setup.
Perhaps that might be of consideration.

I use both at the dojo and prefer the hanging muy thai bag becasue it is long and I can throw high kicks and low kicks with lunching combinations without having to adjust anything. We have two types of standing bags, one I like a lot more than the other. One I think it is a cardio standing bag. The outside is made from cloth and it had a foam covered plastic center, I HATE that one. It hurts to punch and kick it. The one I like is a thick leatherlike covered bag but for me the base is too thick so I can't throw leg kicks, but I can hit it really hard without it hurting.
