Of course I am - even if I shouldn't - NOBODY knows me there! ;)

weight has stabilized...not what I want it to do, but better than going up for sure! I'll watch what I eat as best I can while on vacation - and as I said, start on Cycle 1 again when get back. I just can't seem to shed those last 10 lbs!

I can't wait to get to goal weight because I will post a picture - no muscles like some, but I should look pretty good (for age anyway!) ;)

I'm off to the chiropractor, then to get electrolysis done (almost done!), pick up glasses, then take the dog for grooming - pack and get ready to go - leaving tomorrow.

Have a great week!

You may have gained some muscle and lost some Fat, so don't think of it as stalling on weight loss. Alternatively a bit of fat loss coupled wiht water retention, so possibly TOTM or you've made a few dietary changes and increased Sodium intake a bit too much without realising it.

Don't worry about it too much, it will probably correct itself if it's going to in the next 2-3 weeks probably.

I'm back from Florida and back on track with food plan on the 17 Day Diet, Cycle 1 again. I'm happy to report that I didn't
go crazy while on vacation and only had a minor gain, already gone so I'm back needing to lose 12 pounds to meet goal. I know I've mentioned that LAST 10 lbs is so hard to lose but 12 is the magic number.(still)

right arm, shoulder is still bothering me. I was fine the entire time I was away but Wednesday night I couldn't even put headphones on and off without a great deal of pain :( Headphones = to listen better to American Idol ;)

So, for exercise I've been walking - outdoors and treadmill, plus prescribed stretching exercises received from chiropractor. I'll be focusing on the weight loss and recovering from injuries....then get back on track with weights.

I love getting TAN - it makes you look so much better! Helps all around! :) Yes, I used sun screen and I normally tan pretty easy. We have had such a horrible winter we are seriously considering getting a place in Florida to at least get away for January and February. Just need to figure it all out!

Had a great time - really didn't do much, just relaxed. We didn't even go to any of the parks in Disney.
shoulder unfortunately is really giving me problems, funny that it didn't bother me while I was away, could being on the computer be making it worse?!?!

faves this year are PIA, #1, isn't she incredible ? Lauren - young but raw talent! I think Jacob has an incredible voice, as does Haley. I don't understand the judges feelings about Casey, and Paul should've been gone ages ago, cute but not THAT cute ;) Stefano will be voted off soon - has a good voice but someone has to go. Scott will be a huge Country Star but not the American Idol (too one dimensional) - James Durbin has a great voice but I'm not a rocker :)

I lost another lbs. 11 more to go!

yes Pia is really good, very polished and has a power voice, & the most vocally strong of the women, and it doesn't hurt that she is drop dead gorgeous! I like Haley's style of singing and I think she has a more interesting voice that I personally like better. I was sad to see Naima go, I really liked her funky style - she is definitely a trend setter and something different that I think will enhance the music world. I thought America got it right with Casey....he started off good, has crazy talent - but he is not showing that now, I'm over his growling screeching singing! I think Stefano should have gone home last week and Naima stay - but that's just me. Oh, and Paul...I have to disagree with you...he IS that cute. lol! But his style is somewhat weird - but look at Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart, they made a career from it. Jacob has a great power voice, very suited for R&B and Gospel - I know Steven Tyler loves him (and I love Steven Tyler....there I said it!) Scott is a good country singer, but only has one style, but I have to say for only being, what 16? He is incredible. Well, since I just professed love for Steven Tyler, then you must know I am a rocker fan. So I am pulling for James Durbin, he has a great gift with that voice, I just hope he doesn't let all of this attention change who he is.

It's obvious it has already gone to his head - I think that's one of the reasons I don't like him - he is NO Adam Lambert (I really loved Adam so guess I'm not a total rock-less person ;) )- but yes, he is talented for sure! Lots of talent this year ! I agree, I like Haley - didn't understand Randy's comments at all when she sang "Blue", boring??? Not! But I think Pia should win it - most of them regardless of whether they win or not will have a very promising career - I love seeing people with this kind of talent get a chance.

I'm seeing the Chiropractor regularly - twice last week, Thursday and Friday - and I'll see him again Tuesday so far this week. He did the Graston thing and acupuncture, next day heated shoulder then rubbed spread some stuff kind of massaging arm, shoulder area, then showed me some exercises I need to do (and made me do them!)...cracked back.... shoulder muscles are so tight both sides to to compensating for right one :( I do feel better once I leave him, at least looser, that is of course until the bruises show up  He did warn me ....

Do you think I should go back to the Ortho guy? Maybe get another MRI? I'm wondering if I tore it further shoveling that darn snow~! It certainly is putting a damper on workouts....cardio only for awhile for 2 reasons, shoulder AND being on Cycle 1 that is carb deficient :( Give me two weeks and I should be where I need (ok want!) to be and then food plan should be more sensible with all the nutrients I need.

I went to a Total Women's Conference yesterday as a vendor as Jockey Person 2 Person and it was SO uplifting! I received so many compliments! Out of the blue I was told by many that I looked fit and healthy - that I in no way needed to diet!(They saw me eat salad and of course weight came up)... They were shocked when I told them age, they thought I didn't look like I weighed more than 150 and was in late forties!!! OMG~!!!! Anyway, the bottom line is this JOCKEY STUFF must be incredible!! I wore the Modern Bootleg Pants (black) with a Black Cami, and a pink Convertible Cardigan...I wore a fabulous new bracelet and necklace (bought when I got there from another vendor, I should have kept on the Jockey accessories  , and an chain belt (Jockey) around waist (under the cardigan) I actually HAD a waist! Ha!- I want to wear this outfit EVERY day! LOL

Nah, no pictures - next time!

I'm off for the day VERY busy - then back here to start and finish our taxes, nothing like leaving it to last minute

Lost another pound - only 10 more to go! Woo Hoo~! Basically I'm back to June 2009 weight where I lost focus (lost job and Mom died 4 days later) and gained some, definitely plateaued , went back and forth and just couldn't get below 170 again - THIS time I'm going to make it!

I'm confused, it worked right? Or are you saying it didn't. YES, it hurts!!! When I wear tank tops or short sleeves, or when I was in "bikini" , I felt I needed to explain that husband DOES NOT beat me! LOL But I'm willing to put up with it if it can help me? Your opinion would be GREAT!

Lu, you might want to look into something called Airrosti. I have seen something about that which makes me think it can be quite useful. By all accounts it can be quite painful when it's done, but as far as improvement of healing, it is supposedly quite beneficial.

Certainly though, another checkup might be in order and possibly another MRI, because if you've exacerbated an existing injury of some kind, you need to know, so that you could rule out a seperate injury in the same area, or to make sure the level to which the problem has increased, does not affect it's ability to heal naturally without some kind of surgery or healing aids, as just leaving something you feel may heal of its own accord, when it doesn't, will prolong the problem, simply by delaying any diagnosis of the problem until it's clear one is needed.

If you don't know what is likely to be the matter, your choice to proceed with it, might be the wrong choice.

The shovelling could very well have been the culprit, but then again it might have been something else. Any examination of the injury site, won't obviously be able to ascertain exacting cause, but will ascertain what path to go down, regards a possible resolution of the issue at hand.

It may even be the case that you wouldn't need a Chiropractor, but simply sports massage for a specified period of time.

I'm happy to say that arm/shoulder is really feeling better - I think this Graston stuff is working! Went again yesterday and now I'm bruised in another spot - ugh! I'm terrible at repeating what is said, but this guy talks me through it describing what he is doing and why...I'm hopeful. I will checkout/ask about Airrosti - thanks Boss Man.

On another note:

169!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot!!! Finally under 170!!!!

Thanks Lynne!

BUT, I just got out of the shower and while I was blowing hair dry I noticed I had some old lady skin on the inside of upper arm!!! Ack!!!!!! Only when it's in a certain position - but I guess I better get back to some upper arm weight exercises!!! Anyone know the best exercise to do? You know, AGE is relevant....it's a fact, not an excuse - wish it was :( Of course I will do whatever I need to do to counteract the aging process ;)
