Warrior Dush

Post by PandorasVise »

Have you guys seen the obstacle course races that are popping up everywhere? I was going to enter the tough mudder but it is the same weekend as fight. So I opted for the warrior dash. I like that name better anyway. It is 3.2 miles with a dozen or so obstacles and it comes with a very cool hat to wear after. Recently I have found two other of these types of races going on this summer. Looks like lots of fun

They just had a Warrior Dash near here a few weeks ago. Some of friends went to it. And last year they had it, and a group of running club partners trained for it and went. They ALL said it was a blast. :D If you are gonna do it, register early, those things fill up fast - they are really popular right now. :D I would love to do one some day, looks like crazy fun. 8)

I registered for it a month ago. It was just odd that to me that two years ago, i never heard of these races. Now I know of several. There all kinds of incarnations of it. Some small and local and some big and put on national event companies.

Wow. I'm actually very tempted to try the Warrior Dash in city in October... but that's like 2 weeks before 10 miler. Don't know how that would mess with the training schedule! Maybe next year?
