Need some feedback..
Hello, Im new to this site and am looking for some info. I have been in a steady workout routine for approx. 5 yrs. (gym 5-7 times a week cardio and weights). However, during workout last week I think I partially dislocated shoulder. Just not paying attention to form. It popped out and then right back in. At least thats what it sounded like. I have full r.o.m. with the injured shoulder. I have been taking anti-inflamatory meds and have been resting it. Everything feels ok but loose..kind of how your ankle feels after you roll it is the best way I can describe it. How long should I wait before I hit the weights again. I was making some really good gains and Im ancy to get back into gym.

Go to the doctor! I have dislocated both of shoulders over the years, and they are nothing to fool with. The may isolate the shoulder if it popped out. The problem is the ligaments are probably stretched and that shoulder can now easily pop out again. If you do it again, you may be looking at surgery to repair it. Don't mess with it.

Partial dislocation is usually referred to as Subluxation, to knowledge, so it should not be as bad as a full dislocation. If you have it popped back in you might escape some of the pain bruising and rehab that occurs with popping a full dislocation back in.
