Soreness: Weeks and Months After

Post by XQH000AD0001 »

If soreness means that you've worked out well, as I've read from another thread, then does it mean that you're hitting a plateau once the soreness goes away even you're still keeping up with your workout?

Even when I increase the # of reps, # of sets, and/or weight load, I don't feel sore the day after. Is this expected if you've been lifting for a while... I mean is it expected that you won't get sore even if you intensified your workout?

I went on vacation for 2 weeks one time, and didn't do a lick of working out. When I came back, I started again and yes, I was sore the next day. Do you only feel sore the day after your first workout (of a muscle group) in a long time?

you shouldn't be sore after every training session...i'm probably sore from 50% of mine and even that is little soreness except fro the first session of a new program where the muscles have to work in a differetn way
