Machine Seated Row
I plan on doing full body training instead of splits. Are Machine Seated Rows good for doing the entire back and even some shoulders?

I would say it depends on what other exercises you are using in your workout.
If that is your only back exercise, I would recommend the lat pulldown instead. You will recruit more muscle with the lat pulldown. Obviously it involves the largest muscles in the back, the latissimus dorsi, but also utilized the rear deltoids and biceps to a lesser extent.
