Woo-hoo!

Post by meaok77 »

Maternity pants are completely out of closet! I went shopping, at Goodwill--I'm not going to spend a fortune on pants I don't plan on being in for long, and bought all non-maternity jeans. They are all size 16's, and I don't care about the size (I knew they wouldn't be a smaller size), I'm just happy to finally be able to say "Maternity pants no longer have a home in closet".

This is exactly what I am planning on doing! :D And even better news here, is when I go to do this, I don't have to buy 12's...I already have 12's in closet thanks to bf's sisters. They keep giving me pants in this size...I had to tell one that they don't fit...she was shocked. She said I don't look like I wouldn't fit in a size 12. Hopefully in about 4-6 months I will! :D

Did a major overhaul on our eating habits and what's in our cubbards/fridge. Around Thanksgiving/Christmas we just kind of threw out good eating habits. I finally got bf back on board with what we buy at the grocery store. Other than some Jello Temptations and Yoplait Delights it is veggie and fruit central in our kitchen. But he break down and got cookies (how many of them did I eat---zero!!!! ).

I'm having just as much fun giving clothes away these days as buying new ones. I saved one big pair of pants (the only ones that fit me when I was at heaviest) so that I can do that weight-loss thing where I stretch them out and hold them in front of me to make it look like a lost half of myself. Ah, simple pleasures....
I have one big pair of pants as well from when I was in college that I bought. Aside from the pregnancy pants, these pants from college were the biggest I had ever bought. I remember I got them home the day I bought them...looked at them and decided right then and there I would never wear them or buy that size again. They still have the sales tag on them. They were size 18's. It was just after buying these pants that I lost weight and got down to a size 8 before getting pregnant.

I just threw away maternity pants. They were so worn out, I would be surprised if a second hand shop took them. bf wanted to throw them away, I told him "no, I want the satisfaction of getting rid of them".

I'm now a 10, so they're a bit big. I've never been down this low, but I think being an 8 would be nice. :)

The pants I had/have were non-stretch jeans. Same as "new" pants. I wanted to stay out of stretchy pants because I figured if they aren't stretchy then it'll motivate me more to lose the weight to get out of them. If I have stretchy pants I'll slack on losing weight. LoL
