Hey all.

I have a workout routine, i want to know if its okay.. can anyone give opinions on it.. this is to BUILD MUSCLE and burn fat... ANY TIPS ANYONE has?

day 1: Deadlifts, Squats 5X5..... chest and tri's full sets
day 2: HIIT with a 20 minute walk in the afternoon OR 45 Minute walk/jog in the morning.
day 3: Deadlifts, Squats 5X5..... Back and Bi's full sets.
day 4: HIIT with a 20 minute walk in the afternoon OR 45 Minute walk/jog in the morning.
Day 5: Break
Day 6: Deadlifts, Squats 5X5..... Shoulders and FAVORITE MUSCLE (mostly bi's)
day 7: HIIT with a 20 minute walk in the afternoon OR 45 Minute walk/jog in the morning.

what does everyone think of this.. 3 days weights, 3 days cardio, 1 day break.....

i will be dieting in the meantime.. Not counting callories.. but eating alota protein. fruits this and that..

Take 2 days off not 1.

Have a break on day 4, move day 6 to 5 and day 7 to 6, then make 7 your other rest day. The 3 days of weights and 2 days of HIIT will be fine. Ithink 6 days straight is a bit too much.

Also why so much Dead and Squat work 3x a week, but Chest, Arms, Back and Shoulder work once a week?

You're doing 15 sets on Legs and lower back each week, but it's not clear how much you're doing on the other muscles, unless you're doing 5x5 on them.

Frankly I'd limit the Deads and Squats to 3x5, so you're doing around 9 sets a week. I think that should be enough.

Hey Omarr, I have to agree with Bossman on your program. I don't know how long you have been training, but 3 days of squats and deads is probably too much. Remember not only do the muscles have to recover, but so does the nervous system. I feel 3 days of deads and squats is too much. Try the switches he made, and maybe even cut the squats and deads out on chest day. This will give you a little more rest. In lifting, more isn't necessarily better. You have to do enough to get a training response and then recover. Hope this helps.
