A WOW Diet!

Post by Rena80rn »

Hey u ALL ..

i am a new member here n i really need ur support as i am in the beginning of weight loss process.

i would like to ask u about something concerning the diet i am currently following. i follow a wow diet with more protien less suger and carbs. it is for 4 weeks, n i am done with 2 weeks so far. i lost 13 pounds, but the big amount was from the 1st week's share, then in the 2nd week i lost the smallest one. i know that in the beginning a person loses many pounds thanks for the water going out of the body.

so, q is: will i also lose a small amount of pounds in the remaining 2 weeks, or there is a possibility to lose big one?? knowing that i will walk 5 times a day for 45 min on treadmill. Moreoevr, is there any way to help me shed more pounds in these 2 weeks? And, what other diet can i follow n guarantees a big loss after this protien diet?

many thanks for ur support and cooperation ..

Basically scrap the diet.

A diet plan almost certainly works best when it's consistent, not when you change it week by week.
for the 1st two weeks, the breakfast should be 1-2 eggs with half an orange or grapefruit
This is an example of the strnage ideology about your plan. There's no need for this at all. This is too low calorie and the restrictive requirement is bad.

You would be better to forget this inconsistent way to eat, and concentrate on a more consistent method of eating, not one that restricts and changes weekly or daily.

This should simplify things.

Breakfast. 1 Portion of Chopped Chicken and a Banana. Eat the Banana first to avoid its digestion getting impeded too much by the Chicken, them have the Chicken about 10-15 minutes later.

Snack. Two boiled Eggs, 1/4 c up of Nuts and an Apple. Same advice on the Apple.

Lunch. Portion of Turkey, Portion of Pasta and sliced Tomato. You could heat the Tomato into a type of sauce if you wanted.

Snack.

Ham sandwich

Dinner
Option 1.

Lean Beef, Boiled Carrot and Potato.

Option 2.

Chicken Stir-fry, with Peas, Mushrooms, Rice and if you like them, Sliced Peppers.

Option 3.

Lamb Chops. Lamb fat trimmed off round the sides and a vegetable of choice, like turnip, Swede Parsnip, Cauliflower etc.

Snack. Small bowl of Cereal with Skimmed Milk.

The 3 dinner options are just that. Either have 1,2, or all 3 during the week. This means having the other 5 meals the same is easier to plan for, but the dinners change, giving some variety.

How does that all look?

wow, i like that boss man! thank u.

ok, i will do that diet bcoz it is very convincing.

but i have some questions:

1- what is the size of each portion of the mentioned below?

2- for how many weeks shud i repeat it?

3- how many pounds will this diet make me shed?

i have a long way to lose all the damn extra pounds (100 lbs), so i really need to shed a great deal of pounds in the beginning of the path 2 avoid feeling board of the slow moving (i had that experince b4 n i failed!).. then i wana lose the rest of the pounds slowly.

thanks in advance dear ...

(Most portions would be palm of the hand sized. In the case of Bananas they're large, Turkey is about 100g, (3.5OZ), and Chicken is a standard sized breast.

Dinners same thing, except Stirfry, where the 3-4 additional ingredients had with the Chicken, would be 1/2 a palm size roughly, for each ingredient.)

2- for how many weeks shud i repeat it?

(Keep doing it every week. It makes how you plan meals and eat more consistent. No chopping and changing a lot.)

3- how many pounds will this diet make me shed?

(Depends on your body type and ability to lose weight. You I ma confident you should lose some good weight, without losing it faster than is healthy, but giving you an exact figure is near impossible.)
Hopefully all of that makes sense :).

calotrenpamela, many thanks 4 the advice .. regarding the herbal supplement, i already tried that but actually it was not of a good effect .. n realized that if ur body was addicted to these things, it wont work right but with taking them! i had many diets throughout life n used to take herbal things n some other times take pills n stuff like that, but all had bad effects. but starting this diet, i decided to make if fully natural n the only thing that i may do to help body is as u said Yoga n other exercises!
do u suggest any website to learn more about yoga?as i do not have much time to go to centers!

calotrenpamela wrote:Hi,

I think the above diet plans are good enough for a perfect diet plan. But i would like to say here that by following only a good diet is not sufficient, rather than this for loosing weight quickly you have to take some good herbal weight loss supplement and if possible do some yoga which is good for a good and fit body. Thanks.
With respect the Yoga advice is good, but that is poor advice on the supplement. Sorry, I don't mean to sound rude :). Herbal supplements are complete and utter rubbish. Most are useless and in the case of chamical versions, they can kill people. "Hydroxycut Harccore".

The kind of dietary advice espoused here, coupled with exercise advice, is often sufficient for good weight loss, but we NEVER suggest stupid waste of money supplements, because they are just awful and do nothing but potentially affect your health and wealth badly.

The reason some people think these things work, is because they do other things like drink more water, cut more calories, start or change an exercise regime, so they think the product has some effect when it mostly doesn't, it's the other changes.

I such supplements worked, then overweight people could pop a couple a day and keep eating drinking and slobbing like normal, but they couldn't do that, because it would be pretty pointless.

As for claims about, should be taken in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet. Why?

They would do something to your body whether you cut calories or not. The cutting calories will work, the pills almost certainly won't, otherwise as stated before, overweight people could just take them and probably lose at least 2-4lbs without doing anything else to their lives.

oh, boss man; many thanks 4 saying this! n i would like to add that these herbal supplements rubbish made me eat like a cow after quitting them!!!! specially those Chinese Phony herbal pills! yes, i lost weight while taking them, around 13 pounds in two months, but their dangerous side effects like hypering the heart beats n drying the eyes n so forced me to quit them (thank God i did), but that resulted in eating like an animal after 10 days from that till i re-gained all what i lost MOREOVER putting up triple of that!!!!

i will follow the diet u gave me n i hope i will lose fair (a bit much :D) pounds ..

but may i ask u about something?i know that chest will be affected by losing weight, so is there any exercise i can do to avoid losing much fat from that area? the only thing i like in gaining weight was the new shape of chest! n i really dont wanna lose much from that .. :(

Normal exercises like Bench Presses, Arnold Presses, Pec Deck etc, will add some muscle to the Chest, so you could replace some lost fat yes and therefore potentially not end up with a really bony thin chest, but you couldn't just lose Fat from everywhere then keep a little in the Chest, unless it was some kind of physical anomlie, as you would lose Fat from pretty much everywhere.

I went down that road a few years back and swore I'd never take a weight loss pill again and just exercise and try to maintain a healthy diet. I was getting all types of side effects, stomach pains, even really strange dreams believe it or not.
But when I had a bad car accident a year ago and couldn't exercise I found i was packing on some extra weight and really needed help in suppressing appetite.
I tried a heap of different weight loss pills and sprays and none seemed to stack up to what I was paying for.
Lately I have been using Sensaslim, It has been doing a good job at controlling food intake, and I haven't experienced any side effects apart from the taste which is taking a little time to get used to.
I wouldn't recommend anyone taking pills after the research i have done, It all needs to go through the liver and the spray is applied to the tongue.
I have included the link to how Sensaslim works if anyone is interested in a Appetite suppressant. Personally once knee is back in shape I will stick to exercise and Diet! but until then there is nothing wrong with a little cheating is there?...lol.. :D
