I was just wondering how many Chin-ups you guys can do?
At the moment the most I've achieved is 32 reps without touching the ground although I'm aiming to improve to around 50+ - also that attempt of 32 reps was done today and arms are still aching from workout yesterday ,
but anyway I'd like to know how many you guys can do and see if you can improve on them.
- a Chin-up -
-Your hands must be facing your body
-Having your arms fully extended(until they are straight) and then raised up until your chin becomes level or just over the bar
-Your legs must stay off the floor
Well, I have been cheating a bit with chin ups. I usually do it in the smith machine (I am pretty short). I usually grab the bar, and arms are slighlty not fully extended. On a good day I can do 10 reps only. Been training for one year, with lots of ups and downs, and no proper bar back then - now recently (2 months) have access to an assisted pullup/chinup bar.
Oh and I am a gal - but goal in the end of this year is to 25 reps or so.
