Cooking whole grains
I am trying to find out if I'm cooking these wheat & spelt berries correctly.Are they supposed to squeak when you bite them, roll off your fork like those renegade pea's when you were a kid ? Or are they supposed to be more like rice when cooked ? Hard to eat healthy when your not sure if something is cooked.I'd rather eat whole berries than cracked ones.Someone besides me has to be eating these things.
