Hi Everyone - This confession room is built for everyone to help overcome their guilt dieting habits and press forward to better disciple.
Last night's dinner was yum but a big no no. I admit i had a Hawaiian pizza extra cheese extra pineapple.
Wait that's not all..i also had fried rice and i doubt they cooked it in olive oil....i made sure to sweat it off this morning though. Because of guilt i even wore a sweat jacket during training, I'm hoping that helped.
Dam admitting ill-disciple sucks but I'm sure honesty is appreciated. !! Hope you all did better than me in the dieting department.
Admitting it is not sucky though, it's good. It makes it more real, rather than hiding from it and pretending it wasn't that bad, or was in some way justifiable. You've just quoted some dubious eating habits and it's there in black and white, so that should make it look more significant, to the point where you'd be more likely to overcome or curb such habits.
Forgive me confession room, for I have sinned. I confess carb loading today on a bagel and two protein bars, as well as tortilla chips. Mainly because it's the only thing that sounded good in state of being sick. I shall run thy awful processed calories off later this week and try to be a better girl (eating clean) tomorrow even if carbs are the only thing that sound good.
This festive season is going to be a real tester. Last night we had break up dinner with a group and the food was not healthy.
dieting sins
Curry Chicken
2 slices of pizza
Cookies and cream ice cream
I made sure to work extra hard at the gym this morning mainly because i felt guilty and wanted these extra calories out. Good luck with this festive season people. I live in Suva Fiji and families gatherings are a big thing here with cakes, pies, food everywhere you turn. Its going to be tough turning down some of these yummy meals but hey gotta start some where right?!!
Fiji is so beautiful. We have family who lived there for a number of years. I've never been, but their pictures of the time they lived there are absolutely beautiful.
From someone who used to think fitness was all about fat or thin, which its NOT.Think about this the next time you want to eat unhealthy, what will this do to heart, make it beat faster or let it beat healthy & strong ? Do I want to have a poor quality of life & die early or live a dynamic, happy full life ? point is, the only person you are harming is yourself. I personally don't believe you can " sweat " off these extra calories by doing extra hard workouts, mainly do to the fact is about the quality of food we eat, not always calorie content. What you put in the gas tank, is the sole ingredient that will make or break a workout & how the body functions as a whole at rest.Christmas is a time of temptation for most, including myself, but I just remember that what I'm about to put in mouth affects heart, lungs & every other cell in body, be kind to your body, choose healthy options. If you know they won't be available where your going, bring your own
Your confessing to a chick who considers chunky peanut butter & honey on flax bread a cheat Though I'd have no issues eating one of those cookies either Great that your dad went to the gym !! Love to read that.
Wow your cheat meals almost seem healthier than normal meals. I shy to think what you ladies eat on your normal diet days. Great stuff i commend your commitment.
As for me i absolutely enjoyed short week of holidays. I did pig out at every turn and enjoyed the blessings of family and good food. I'm back into training again so gone are days of eating "rubbish". Great to start the new year with a positive vibe.

Yes! Crunchy peanut butter and a drizzle of honey on a toasted piece of sprouted grain whole wheat bread.... mmmm! It's like cake! I had that this evening with a glass of milk and it made me so happy
