Am I working out too much?!?!

In your initial comment and question, you ask everyone if they think your overdoing it on your workouts. Then when swanso tells you that you are, you get defensive. What was the purpose of the question then?! You also say that you are not getting sore, which points out to me that your body is fully adjusted to your program. You see, its not all about the time you spend in the gym, but the quality spent in the gym. I don't have a problem with you spending 2 hours a day in the gym. But you need to understand that you should be a little sore the next day after a workout. If you are not, then your body is adjusted to your workout. You will then need to change it up. The key is to always "shock" your body. For myself, I usually change routine up no longer than every two months. This keeps me from getting bored or used to the same thing. And workout time ranges anywhere from a 20min workout to 1hr 30min workout. Hope this helped.

I understand that I am to be sore the next day after each workout. Trust me, I am. And I have cut back workout schedule. Not because I think that 2 hours in the gym is too much, I just have too much going on to spend that kind of time in the gym. Now I pack two hour workouts into about one hour, going from each exercise with minimal rest between sets. People look at me funny in the gym but I get workout in, I am increasing weight with each set, and I feel as though I am getting a cardio workout in as well. I am also only working out 4 days a week instead of 6. I want to thank all of you for your comments, they have truely helped. Thanks.
