Hello All...
I'm new to this forum and I am looking for some "mom" motivation. I've read numerous entries about having a goal and sticking to it and I love them. I love reading how these mom got to there goals but I feel as if they are missing something. As much as I admire their hard work I can't relate. I don't understand where they found the time.
I would like to hear from the single mom's who have children, work the 9-5, do the housework, etc. Please tell me how I can schedule time, what should I be sacrificing to meet goals?
All the best,
mimi

Re: Motivation for Moms
The very best part of day is the hour or two before the kids get up. Get a quick workout in, have a coffee meeting with facebook, shower with all the hot water I can stand, it is awesome. The only thing I scarefice is late night TV but I am a morning person anyway. Also don't feel like you need to get your workout in when you are going to do family stuff like skiing or laser tag. Those are quite a workout.

I walk alot, being in the city and you're right when running with the kids doesn't seem like a workout when in fact it is. I just feel like I'm not doing enough. Lesplease, those quick workouts you mentioned can I google those because I have no idea what a reptile push up is or mountain climbers. I walk about 1 1/2 from boys school to work in the beginning I was exhausted and out of breath but now I can walk it with ease. body is getting too used to the walk, I do try to walk it faster, timing myself and I have been getting better. I wanted to do something that would shake up that routine.
@pandora...I love the mornings. I used to workout at 5am then I start the running around by 6:15. I had more energy on those days but I was in bed right after I put little monsters to bed...no late night TV for me...lol. Now with the winter waking up at 5am is a chore.
I'm loving the helpful advice...Thanks again!
