@ Les :: issue with work is that I'm so limited in ability. :/ Meh. Oh well, I've got four years to figure things out.

@ Rebekah :: Well, being an artist is not exactly a super high demanded job. :/ I should have gone pre-med or pre-vet...

It sounds like from what Les said there are some good opportunities. And you do have 4 years to improve and learn as well! Its definitely not too late to go pre-med or pre-vet if you really want to do that but if you love to draw and write and that's what your heart is telling you to do than i say go for that. :)

There are great opportunities, yes, I know that much. But whether or not anyone would want to hire me is the problem. I don't really WANT to do pre-med or pre-vet, but I know that if I do, I'll have a much more stable, well paying job than I could ever get as an artist. I've lived with struggling with finances enough and I never want to feel like I'm living paycheck to paycheck ever again. I've also been told that I'm wasting intelligence with an art degree and that I should use intelligence in getting a degree that is more worthwhile...

I know how you feel. I grew up with a single parent that worked 2 jobs and raised 4 children with not much in child support, we were always struggling. So i know where you are coming from. who is to say you can be financially well and happy in what you do as well.

I'm positive people will hire you! If you continue to do good in school like you are, I'm sure you will be fine. :)

I'm sorry but that seems a little backwards if you ask me. Sure, I understand education and fitness being important, but shouldn't being happy with myself and life and actually having a life worth living be the most important? Without friends and all that, life isn't really worth living is it? If I'm miserable what is the sense of working so hard to lose the weight, especially when the process makes me pretty depressed and miserable as well?

Hey, I know this is a really stupid question, but how do I measure waist? I have a feeling I've been doing it wrong. :/

Also, I'm glad you enjoy working out and all that. I just get annoyed because I feel like I don't know how to do anything... Exhibit A, see above. -__- It's extremely frustrating for me considering I'm usually really knowledgeable.

One more question: Am I the only one getting an error everytime I post?
