A sweet a day keeps the craving away?

Post by badversion »

Gym trainer is a weird guy...a good weird.

So let me tell you what happened today - today he sat me down and was explaining me diet plan.
and I mentioned him i have sweet tooth he told me to follow this -

Buy any sweet 7 pieces no less no more and eat 1 per day. question - won't I gain weight and unhealthy fat?
The day you miss your gym or eat something unhealthy you give that piece of sweet to a beggar or a stray dog.
He says in that way you won't get a guilty feeling of missing your gym or eating unhealthy(which I do) and you do something good to a other living being by not wasting food.

I like the concept but is it good?

Here in India the so called dark chocolate is loaded with sugar...Its useless to buy dark chocolates in India.

either they are very heavily priced or are loaded with sugar.

50 Calories? Dairy Milk has around 30 calories per square and around 35-40 for the Caramel ones.

so you might be better getting that stuff isntead. It's still got things like Calcium,. Fat soluable Vitamins and Milk protein, plus the Antioxidents, so perhaps a more frugal choice.

Although having an added 100 calories from Chocolate per day isn't exactly heinous I admit.

Cadbury dairy milk is like eating little pieces of hell disguised as heaven.

Well those kinda chocolates which amatlack showed aren't available in India.

and by sweets he didn't only mean chocolate he mean't any sweet ranging from cake to Indian sweets.

amatlack wrote: old trainer said she always had one piece of dark chocolate per day. I do the same...though sometimes I have two, sometimes none. Dark chocolate is pretty good for you and has lots of antioxidants, so it's at least got that going for it...plus it's got less sugar and curbs chocolate cravings because the cocoa content is higher. I get 72% dark chocolate squares, each one has 50 calories.
I agree with this. I eat a piece of 72% dark chocolate everyday! The saturation of cacao curbs the sweet craving and doesn't contain a lot of sugar!
