Diet Plan

Post by ritchiek »

This is first time posting. I lost 20 pounds in a month playing ddr and sticking to a 1200 calorie diet.
I am 20 years

5'10
167 lbs(currently)
goal weight is 155 lbs
I work out every day. One hour in the morning after breakfast and serveral hours spread out throughtout the rest of the day.
weight loss has currently stalled and now I'm stuck at 166-167. I fear it's perhaps because I don't eat enough everyday. I'm starting to only eat less than 1000 calories or so a day.
I eat 5-6 small meals throught the daybut main problem is I fear if I eat anymore than that I'll gain more weight, even though I keep reading men need 2000+ a day.
If there are any tips or advice anyone can give me to keep losing weight until I reach goal(155 lbs) it would be greatly appreciated. Or even a mens diet plan.

Thanks, Kevin.

So turns out eating more was the answer. I guess it was hard for me to grasp the concept of eating more to lose more weight. I'm losing about half a pound a day and I'm at 163.5.

You're not the first to discover this. Too many people eat too little, for fear of the added calories causing Fat gains or poor Fat loss, but the fact is, eating too little can causes Fat retention, because the body has little to no sacrificial calories and cetain types of nutrients that aid fat loss as well.

Plus a lb of muscle can burn an additional 45-50 calories, so it's beneficial to gain some as well and better metabolically as well.
