Re: best workout routines?
What are you trying to achieve?
If you want to get big, you can use the same routine you had, but progressively increase your weights. Also if you increase the volume of your exercise, by increasing the number of sets (as opposed to just 3), you should see a difference.
Hope this helps

Re: best workout routines?
I worked on a four day split for a while and it worked well for me you may want to give it a shot. I did lower body and shoulders on monday and thursday, and upper body on tuesday and friday. For lower body/shoulder day I do three exercises for lower body and three exercises for shoulders, on upper body day i do two chest two back on bi and one tri. i dont work front deltoids on shoulder day as they get worked in on chest exercises. I usually do two side delt and one rear delt exercise on shoulder day. I dont ever really add abs into regular lifting routine i just pick a few days out of the week and work them after lifting. Give it a shot and see what you think.
