Not losing!!!

I started using SF tracker on 9/7/10 (I decided kids are going to school and I need to really focus on losing weight). Almost 2 years ago I did WW and got to goal weight and was a lifetime member; of course then I quit going and quit tracking food. Now I am right back where I was when I started going there :( Instead of paying the money for WW,...I thought I would try this site because I think tracking is the key. I completed the profile, have stayed at or below the recommended calories almost every day. When I weighed myself 9/14 I lost 4 pounds and was on top of the world. Then I weighed myself 9/21 and lost 0 :cry: then I weighed myself again today 9/28 and lost 0 :?: - I don't get it - what am I doing wrong??? I don't want to give up but I work out usually 3 times a week, stopped snacking at late night (even if I had calories left to use) and nothing!!!!!!! Any advice?

A: I'ts a training problem, I.E. using too little weight or not enough volume of work.

B: It's a dietry problem, I.E. too few calories causing a "starvation mode", where the body wants to hold onto Fat.

What' do you eat and what times do you eat?

I usually have a Thomas Bagel Thin (110 calories) with fat free strawberry cream cheese (40 calories) at about 7am (I work from 6:00am - 3:30pm). Then if I am starving in the morning I will eat an apple or raw cauliflower or one of those Kudos 100 calorie bars. I try to do the elipitcal for 30 minutes at 11am,...come back to work and have lunch around noon. Lunch is sometimes a salad (lettuce, McCormick salad toppins, and Kraft Light raspberry vinigerette dressing) or I may have pea soup or a Lean Quizine ~ nothing huge. Sometimes when I get home and am hungry I will eat a few pita chips and hummus or cauliflower or string cheese, then dinner is usually 5:30 - 6 and can be chicken breast cooked on the grill and corn on the cob, or Smart taste pasta and frozen peas. If I drink pop it is ALWAYS diet. I try to drink at least 40 - 60 ounces of water. If I get snacky at night I grab a hand of licorice bites or a low cal Skinny Cow bar. When I did the calorie thing it said to lose weight I should have like 1420 a day which I can generally stay at 1200 - 1300; a couple times I have gone over but not drastically. I just can't seem to budge the scale (well down anyway) :(

Any advice? I am scared to eat more calories because I gain weight so easy. Thanks for listening.

How can it be considered junk if you stay within the calories allowed per day? What is a normal day of meals that stays within 1300-1400 calories; filling and not junk. I like chicken breast; do not like fish ~I don't think I can eat chicken everyday though. Do you track more then the categories the tracker shows?
