Workout routine

Post by scoonie »

Is 2 hours to long to be working out not including cardio? This is how long it takes me to lift usually.

If you take two hours to lift, it's probably one of three things.

1. Set breaks are too long.

2. Too many Isolation excercises.

3. Too many sets / reps, in which case you're going to end up going stale, and you could cause fatigue, sleeplessness, both of which may help to possibly induce slower mind and brain function, possible reduced Immune System, and lifting ability that slowly slithers down to begginer levels.

How long should breaks be in between sets? I think another factor would be that most of the machines I use in routine are sometimes being used. :?

Set Breaks are often anywhere between about 30 seconds and 90 seconds, so I would say go for a happy medium and stick to 60 seconds.

i wokrout with a start of 20-30 minute acrdio then i work chest and arms one day, 3 exercises per mucle, and other days i work legs and back, but i take spark and it is really good stuff to take for long lasting energy, make sure your rests are 1 - 1:30 minutes long. hope this helps
