Things are going good :) I have been camping since Friday so haven't been able to update. I didn't keep up with the workouts this weekend, no excuse, just laziness  I wasn't too bad with food, though. Back to the grind tomorrow! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I did :D The good news is the heat has really let up around here so working out outside won't be an issue for me, at least not in terms of humidity. I love fall :D

It is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day here - it is 70 with basically no humidity and not a cloud in the sky. Couldn't be more perfect for a run :D Unfortunately I am sick  I wasn't feeling well last night and now I have a full blown fever. So the exercise and diet isn't on today. All I have been able to eat was chicken noodle soup for lunch and then I had Co Co Wheats for dinner  I guess with a fever I only eat something that sounds really good and for some reason that did! Hopefully I have a speedy recovery so I can run tomorrow night. The weather isn't supposed to get over 75 degrees for at least another week so it should be great for outside exercise :D We sure went from scalding hot to fall really fast this year!

I know, Edgar, this weather has been AMAZING for running!!! I am still sick, though. :( fever lasted for several days. Yesterday I was finally feeling better but was really weak so I decided to rest one more day. Now I have a sore throat!!!! AARGHHHHH  I think it is stress that is keeping me sick. I am officially looking for a new job. It has been a really rough two weeks for job and today was the last straw. I won't go into detail, but it is definitely time for me to move on. I am generally pretty tolerant and open minded, but this time I need to move on before I go insane.

The 25th was supposed to be first half marathon, but I decided a while ago that I would be skipping it and shooting for the one in May. But I did just find out that there is also a 5 mile option that day so as long as I am feeling better in the next day or so, I am going to shoot for running that one. So I am keeping fingers crossed that this sore throat is just a fluke from allergies and stress and tomorrow I will be able to run :D

How's it going Joc? Have you been job searching? I'm kind of on the look out for a different position than what i have right now too.
