A Jelly ..!!
Have had a couple weeks from exercise due to health reasons...I know I have not put on any weight, but I feel like I have developed a jelly and things have headed "south"(or not as firm). Does the body lose condition that quick? What's the go?

Could possibly be. Depends on obviously the lack of activity, caloric intake, what it is and Salt intake too, if some of the weight gained is water weight.
I would suggest initially to make one change and isolate what the cause might be, so I'd suggest you assess your Salt intake and if you think it's a bit high, workout how to reduce it.
Certainly I'd say adding Salt to things should be a no-no, with the possible exception of boiled Potatos, if they taste a bit bland, but certainly don't go overboard.
If you feel this step might be worth taking and it has no obvious effect over the following 5-7 days, then reassess the situation
