I'm a vegetarian and the fit tracker on the site says I need a ton of protein. Can i just have a protein shake along with every meal to reach that desired amount?

Protein shakes are definitely a great option. Whey protein isolate is the best. It's derived from milk during cheese manufacturing and all the unhealthy ingredients are extracted. You can find a number of different recipes and flavors at energyfirst.com.
