protein power
I have a really hard time getting all of that protein, and do not like protein shakes, etc. Is there any kind of power, that you can mix in with food to add protein?

The amount of protein you need is pretty individualized. You may not really need that much. Some people do quite well with a higher intake of good carbs and good fats and lower protein intakes. However you should have some protein at at least most meals. Whey protein is fine as a replacement is you can't have a good protein source such as lean meat, egg or cottage cheese. Most protein bars are highly processed, have sugar, high fructose corn syrup, even trans fats. Most of the time they aren't a great choice.

Yes, but two protein shakes, depending on the amount per scoop will give upto 60g Protein.
100g Chicken Breast, gives you 30g Protein, so on a price per gram comparison, comparing 2 scoops of Protein powder to a Chicken Breast is a little lopsided.
If you compared 2 chicken Breasts, to two scoops of P P, you get a fairer result, but even if P P was a bit more expensive, you could argue, that the extra cost includes things like Maltodextrin Sugars, and Vits / Minerals, so maybe even then it's potentially still good value.

Protein can help burn fat. First, when losing weight, it will help you preserve your lean muscle mass, which will help keep you metabolism burning.
Also, protein is harder for your body to digest than fat or carbohydrates. and requires more energy for your body to digest protein. Therefore, you burn more calories digesting protein.
Finally, protein helps suppress your appetite. This causes you to eat less calories overall, which contributes to weight loss.
