In order for me to best explain what is happening to me, I am going to tell you about goals and what I'm working at.
I'm not the most fit person in the world, bit over weight and I found a mentor to help me get ready to join the military, past few weeks lil over a month, I have been working with him. Mainly we have been doing a lot of running and endurance building and some strength training. Now we started off training right off the bat, first week I did 2 miles in 4/1 spilts, week 2 I was doing 6 miles in 4/1 spilts so you can say we hit the ground running. The first PT test I took when I started I was able to do 23 push ups, not much but I'm new to this. But issue is now I'm lucky to get 10-13 push ups in. Yes i'm able to run farther but pace really has not gone up, I mean we are running so much I got lot of stress on left foot that I had to take 3/4 days off of running. If anything I'm getting weaker, and tired faster. And we are working out a lot, one day we will spend 2 trips to the gym on legs, another day arms, then abs so on. Now I do get sore but it's not like can't get out of bed sore it's like I know it's there sore but it's not really stopping me from doing anything. diet is fine I know about that. I just wanna know if I'm doing something wrong or not doing something I am suppose to be doing.
am I going to hard or what?

It sounds like you are seriously over-trained. From what I read according to your post after only one week of running you were/are doing six miles a day? Way too fast on progression if that is the case. When I was training for bootcamp I ran every other day. I did three miles one day. The next run would be a little farther until I built up to 6 miles. From there the run training was still every other day, alternating 3 miles and 6 miles. I had already been strength training for about 6 years but I focused on Pull ups and sit ups(PFT exercises) while still doing weights.
Your body needs a break. Anytime you notice a decline in performance and you have no obvious illness, most likely it's over-training.
Take about 10 - 14 days off from training. Don't do anything besides moderate paced walking and stretching. Then ease back into, but this time progress gradually. Give your muscles a chance to recuperate between workouts. One thing you want to do is have some reserves left in your system before entering basic training. If you get off the bus too fatigued and stressed you're in for a very difficult 14 weeks. Let the Drill Instructors?Sergeants handle dishing out the stress- they're going to do it anyways.
I'm not sure what specific exercise/fitness goals you have, but a bodybuilding style workout might not be the best route to take if your goal is getting fit for basic training.
