Is it really that important ?

Post by cyrax_101 »

Most of the questions I ask here, whether they be related to diet or building muscle or losing fat, there are always one common thing everyone suggests - "protein shake" OR "protein powder"
I was just wondering about that. Coz I am trying to lose fat and build muscle at the same time. I have included a lot of protein in diet. Not that I am dead against protein powders. I am a little skeptical towards them.
I mean if a person can get their normal requirements of protein and other nutrients from the common diet itself, why do we need protein powder and other supplements ?
Just a question.

Well I have heard that explanation before.
But if you are getting enough protein from your normal diet, that should be ok right?
I mean too much protein can actually harm the body right ?
