Hola, I'm just wondering if workout plan is alright, and if so, what I can do for diet.

For four days (usually) each week, step-dad takes me to the jail (they have a gym there) to specifically work out a muscle group. We do a different muscle group every time (today we did back and shoulders). We do that for about an hour. Today, we also started adding in cardio. We ran 6/10's of a mile today, and he says we are adding a lap each week.

Anyway, I'm really looking to lose fat. I've always been a bit chubby, and I'd like to lose it at a good rate. Is it true that the more muscle added the more fat is burned at a daily rate?

Well, tell me if I need to change, or improve, or anything on diet.

Every morning I wake up and eat Cheerios (or some cereal, usually Cheerios). For lunch (this is at school), I eat a chicken wrap (chicken, caesar lettuce, banana peppers, and one strip of bacon) along with a lemonade and fries. I'm wondering, are the fries ruining me? Do I need to add anything else to the chicken wrap, or remove anything? Lemonade is healthy, right?

I have little control over dinner. mom makes dinner. Today we had chili, and she usually makes vegetable stew, chili, sheperds pie, mashed potatoes -corn- -meat-, fried bologna and grilled cheese sandwhich, ramon noodles, thinks of that nature. Is this going to be harmful to diet?

Any advice would be appreciated.

As far as muscle goes, the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn in a day, which is good if you get the proper amount of calories in a day.
*If you would like to find out how many calories your body needs in a day look at the BMR calculator in ShapeFits weightloss tools.
*There is a difference between good and bad calories. Ex: Fried Foods contain a large amount of Fat Calories. Fruits and vegetables contain good calories, among other things.
*The best thing for you is to get 6 small meals a day spaced through roughly around 2 hour intervals.

Any fried food (French Fries in your lunch) can have a negative effect on you. Lemonade is healthy depending upon what it contains, if the lemonade is packed with sugar (specifically high fructose corn syrup) it can be bad for you.

1 - full body training 3/week is a better option for you and why the jail gym???

2 - more muscle will burn more calories but not neccesarily fat if diet and training aren't correct

3 - you need a high fibre cerial (some sort of bran cerial) not a sugary one (cheerios)

4 - add a mid morning snack (fruit and tuna)

5 - add more salads / veg to wrap and take out fries and lemonade (water)

6 - add mid arvo snack much the same as mid morn

7 - dinner is alright just get a lot of veggies with it i'm sure mum will love hearing that

1) That's pretty much all we get to do anyway because we miss a day each week it seems like. The jail gym, not for prisoners. It's for officers and officers guests...and it's free...

2) Then how do I utilize the amount of fat I burn? The only thing I can think of is to eat healthier and eat less fat.

3) The best I can do is the multi-grain cereal I found in the cabinet.

4) We don't have fruit...or tuna...well, we do have bananas...I'll eat a banana...

5) So, how about a chicken caesar wrap with one strip of bacon, tomato, and olives? I can handle the french fries and water. They have fruit sides as well.

6) Mid 'arvo' snack?

7) Yeah, she probably will. Some days, though, we have to make our own food because she's not there. Today we had McDonalds... :(

1 - good and gooder!!
2 - yes just eat healthy and you'll be fine if training is intense enough
3 - i'm in australia so i'm not sure what cerials you have but we have all bran, special k etc which are high fibre cerials...anything that isn't packed with sugar (cheerio's, coco pops etc)
4 - why don't you have fruit or tuna?? can yuo get some yourself?? banana's are a grerat choice
5 - that's fine just skip the fries and drink and replace with veg/salads and some fruit
6 - arvo - afternoon (aussie slang)
7 - well be organised with those meals you have to cook so you don't have to settle for macca's etc
