7:00 20g protein shake

8:30 big salad chicken, all types of leaves and lettuce, olives, lf feta cheese, ving dressing. w/ broccolli...had a bit of a bad thing here. 1 roll ups candy (50cal)...I think having the mini junk with the main meal is better than when snacked alone.

11:45 another 15-20g or protein...so i made up for protein in meal 2 and 4. they were just mini snacks really. I truly put food in mouth 7 times a day...sounds crazy....and the funny thing is...i get hungry quite often and a lot faster than before...

I believe that getting hungry more often is sometimes the result of your metabolism speeding up. If you know that you're getting enough protein and healthy fats on a daily basis, eating every 2-3 hours, and not doing a bunch of simple carbs and you still feel like you're hungry more often I would venture to guess that youre getting hungry more often and faster than before because you're metabolism is picking up and the hunger is your body letting you know that you need more nutrients/calories.This is a good thing!

Yay...yeah I do feel that metablosm is up...sometimes even if I had about 250 cals in a meal I would get hungry an hour later at times.

Anyways...did you see new pics? What do you think? I know they don't show much cuz i am - duh- fully clothed....

I did see your new pics and was actually just getting ready to comment on those. You are BEAUTIFUL! :mrgreen:

If youre eating 250 calories and you find that you're hungry an hour later you could try adding just a little more fat and protein to your meals.

Great job Amna. As always, I'm very proud of ya!

Aww thank you Cassie. I know I look a lot better than I did 6 months ago. I do still have a small ....but it's really not so bad anymore you know? I accept it more now than before.

So far meals today:

9:45 - egg whites and protein shake (20g of protein) 250-300cals

12:00 - 3inch bagutte sandwich...from the nutri info on it the whole sandwich is 454, 25p, 70c, 6f...so I had half cuz i got full...sadly...one hour late got hungry again. (12.5p, 35c,3f) 250cals

1:00 peanuts 100cals

then i had to leave the office for an interview...I decided ahead of time that I was going to eat a mac sandwich

3:00 1 small cheeseburger from macdonals, it's 300 cals, 12g fat, 15p, about 30c...within the limits of the day.

5:00 the other half of the tuekry sandwich so same as above....250 cals + stirred yogurt (100cals)...350 total

I had a really bad headache today from walking under the sun more than usual...really...i dont mind walking at all..but the heat is unbareable...so it afffected workout.

Also I did a full body today since I couldn't exercise on monday.

1- Squats with 40kg 5x 6-7reps
2- incline DP 12kg 5x6-7reps
3- Leg press 100kg 3x10
4- single arm row 14kgs 4x7
5- leg curl 30kgs 3x10 ...i hat the leg curl machine we have it hurts calves, not like the burn feeling...but actual pain. its from technogym
6- bent over lateral raises mixed with front raises...i was wearing out...with like 4-5kgs...

so yup...the workout was okay I think. covered basis...didn't wantto focus on small muscles cuz they got worked either ways with the compound exercises.

7:30 protein shake 22g 200

8:45 Salad: lettuce, olives, lf feta cheese, with ving dressing + half a plate of hummus with grilled chicken. I dunno how much i had here cuz i am confused about hummus measuring...but a table spoon is about 30 cals..I had about 10...so about 300cals + 150 + 80 for chicken = about 550

I could safely assume I had about 1900 for far and I will have one more protein shake before I sleep...so It would be about 2000-2100 cals.

head...headache!!!!

You're welcome friend. :) You've made so much progress in the past 6 months! Makes me happy!!!

Meals today look great!

Do you find that you get hungry more often after your carb heavy meals? I notice that if I eat a meal that has a signifcant amount of carbs (like more than 40) I get hungry sooner than if I have a meal with a balance of protein, carbs, and healthy fat (for example something like 30 p, 30 c, and 10 f). The baguette sandwich was higher in carbs and fairly low in protein and fat... I'm wondering if thats why you became hungry so soon after eating it?

That's the thing. I don't think its the lack of protein. Actually in the morning...the only I can quickly eat 4 i go to work is protein..and i still get a hungry an hour later...not two or 3 hours...

I mean after I had the cheeseburger sandwhich, I didn't feel hungry but I still ate around 5:00 anyway to have some energy before workout. I don't think protein makes me full as it is nor does having fats either. I think carbs do I mean after I have a small plate of whole wheat pasta I feel quite full as opposed to having a big salad with chicken wth ving dressing.

thats the thing i didnt feel fat at all...i had a mini burger...and i know it's not the best nutrition-wise...but It was within cal intake and breakdown of nutrition...and didnt have fries or coke or whatever...=D! for me thats an improvement all on its own...hahaha

I ve been feeling very unenergetic and tired today (period). I didn't even feel like working out or even had the energy to do so - but I, as in usual, pushed myself as much as I can either ways. I get this nagging feeling if I don't exercise on days that I am used to.

Meals:

12:30 protein shake + cereal

2:30 grilled chicken (yummy one too!!) with rice (eggs and carrots in it) + fresh lemon/mind juice

5:00 workout
Deadlift: 40kgs instead of 45..I wanna push myself to reach 50kgs soon.
Leg press: improvement..I can do a leg press with 120kgs...(its not the onw where i am lying on back, but sitting...does it make a difference btw?
Calf raises: why when i do calf raises on the tip of a step works calves more than doing it with actual weights????
everything else I did was normal and crappy to an extent..I just couldn't go through it...did some weighted sqauts, then stopped and did weightless sqauts, leg extension about 4x6, some abs...

6:00 protein shake

6:30 2 scoops of ice cream...(planned)

8:30 4 vine leaves + WW pasta w/chicken

11:30 protein shake and screwed up by eating lays chips...i dont even like chips much...but thanks so dad who got like 3 big bags of chips...eahc containing over 20 pieces...bleh...i at least know i had about 135cals from chips and about 150 from protein shape...

dunno if ill feel like exercising tom or not..i wanted to sprint..but...with period..thats just not comfy...so i may go for light cardio

days have been SO BUSY..and they're gonna get even busier now..i feel i have no time to do anything when i get back home..but jus tsit on bed really. I still do some walking and exercise religiously during the day so that's fine...but yeah...

One bad news: ='(...we're moving next from work place to a new place...and it's whole new adjustment system..i just got used to the place here in the past 6 weeks and made it work for me...but now moving 40 minutes farther than the gymm...i dunno what or how i will do it anymore...i would love if i could just leave the pffice at 5 p.m. everyday..that would remove a lot of pressure off....but that just doesnt work here...sigh...what to do...what to do....='(...

tomorroe is gonna be a shit day too...too many interviews to do..alot of problems with miscommunications...bleh.

didn't even have the best meals today...

2:00 Panini bread with roasted chicken and turkey, with some dijon may or whatever...I know it's about 500 cals in total

5:00 stirred yogurt + oats bar

6:00-7:00 Legs weight training..People I can oush 120kgs with 10reps...I remember the days where 40kgs felt hard? now it's like 5lb dumbells...even though legs don't look that big or different than they used to..but i can definitly see some changes.

Mom told me mybody is toning up...becoming more balanced..she said i didnt lose any "obvious" weight...just becoming more toned...Thisi s good right?

7:00 protein shake

8:00..had the YUMMIEST DINNER EVER. Grilled chicken breast, with mashed potatoes..(are normal potatoes bad? I dont eat potato much), and veggies...

11:00 protein shake + a bit of corn flakes

I am SO ANGRY TODAY...I wanted to kill someone. Agh. i dont even know where to begin...i spent about 6 hours with no food, and for me...that's CRAZY and made mso angry.. Iwent to the gym an hour late and that made me even mroe angrier...Ive been so busy at work..and didn't have ANY food whatsoever to have for a long time...and a lot of crap..when i went to the gym, OTHER THAN THE FACT I WAS LATE....i HAD ZERO energy to workout and almost dorpped weights on me quite a few times...and couldn'r even lift as i usually do...and when i do i do it in a way where i know i am putting myself at fucking risk. AN THIS IS GOING TO BE HAPPENING FOR THE NEXT FUCKING WEEKS...for fucking sure. ...EVERYTIME i reach a point where I AM FINALLY HAPPY with body...SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ruin it...so got mad and said shit health yfood at home., and after7 hours of no food...LITERALLY....i had to binge on macdonalds...and drinking protein shake while exercing didn't make any difference...BLAH.

i hate this i hate this i hate THIS!

i didnt have time to get food....not in the morning or nothing...i had peanuts and forgot them in the car...either ways there is no point of having peanuts then weight training...this whole fat crap and muscles and all...and i planned to leabe the office to get yogurt, but i didnt get the chance to leave seat and by the i left the office, i felt mad enough about being late to the gym why stop somewhere to have a bite and be even more late..i dont know...

i mena if didnt grab lunch on the way back to the office from a metting they wouldnt have probably gave me a chance to eat all day...seriously...

yeah, the only food people at the office is junk. I smell KFC and fried food day in and day out. It was such a busy day I couldn't even thinmk of food and when it was 5 i was starving to death...and...i dunno... the time i left the gym i had no energy whatsoever...i just want a freaking break from everything, work, exercise, food...for just one freaking week.

One good thing I will say about KFC, is they do serve large tubs of Baked Beans. If you went to KFC, which I don't, you could eat a healthy meal, then use the tub as a crude form of rain hat as well.

I AM SO FUCKING PISSED.,.....EVEN ON THE DAY I PLAN TO EAT HEALTHY THE FUCKING ASSHOLES HEALTH YFOOD PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING OF WHAT I LIKE TO EAT...AND I AM SICK OF EATING SUBWAY...AND I AM SICK OF EATING TURKEY SANDWICHS...SO I AM GOING TO BE HAVING FUCKING BUFFALOR WINFS FROM CHLIES FOR LUNCH CUZ I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION...THE MAID AT HOME DIDN'T PREPARE THE SALAD I WANTED WITH CHICKEN IN THE MORNING...AND THERE WAS NO TIME TO DO IT CUZ I HAD TO LEAVE FOR THE FUCKING OFFICE..ITS LIKE GOD IS TELLING GO AHEAD AND GET FAT ALL OVER THE AGAIN...AND WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SHIT FOOOD.... THIS I CANT DEAL WITH THIS SHIT CRAP-HOLE ANYMORE.
