Will, that pic was taken in fabulous Key West!!! I cannot wait to go back there again! Such an amazing place. I hope you are having a fun summer so far showing off your new physique on the volleyball courts!

Totally busy, mostly on the boat, as the boys are into the wakeboard, and want to be out there consantly. Haven't played VB for a couple of weeks (much to Barbies dismay...:) The wakeboard gives me some exercise.....I think fear burns calories....right? I don't like the face plants as much as the lil ones do. Haven't been to the beach at all, but dying to, preferably ocean beach. Thanks for stopping by HOT stuff, your pic looks great in thread.....

LMAO.......oh I didn't learn to waterski til I was like 30, and I was very determined to do it, I faceplanted SOOOOOOOOO many times, I thought I was going to be braindead (hmmm....that may explain a few things...huh..no comments please) So I'm pretty cautious on the wakeboard, just need more time on it, I totally want to do one of those back flip things.......ok thats not me, but I can dream, right? :D Like to have a pair of those shorts too.

LOL! Hey it gives you something to work towards :D I used to waterski all the time - I started when I was 12 and haven't been since I was about 20 - actually, the local ski team wanted me to join when I was 13, but I was too timid to do it - one of few regrets...

Oh dude....ahhh dudette, that would have rocked. We didn't have a boat growing, but I always wanted to try waterskiing so finally bought one, and love going out. boys have been on the boat since birth, they have a blast boarding, tubing, and just anchoring in the middle of the lake and jumping off....front-flips, backflips, cannonballs, pencil dives....so fun to watch them. Amazes me how the little ones try so hard to keep up with the oldest, if he does it, they want to do it. They advance so quick that way. And of course, I'm out there too, master of the ski's, but second place on the wakeboard, 12 year old is advancing quickly, 8 is a bit timid, but I expect that will end, as he gains confidence, and he will pass me by the end of Summer I suspect.

You're really making me miss it! There was nothing I loved more than skiing :D Never did wakeboard, though. And tubing...ahhh, the memories of getting violently thrown from the tube as you try with all of your might to hang on for dear life  I sure took a lot of water up nose back in those days

oh yea, you know it, what kills me is when someone says "betchya can't flip me off the tube" not the right thing to say, if you know what I mean. Totally fun on the water, as you say. Plan on spending alot of this coming weekend right on the lake. Hoping for Sunny, Hot, weather. Did you do double ski, or slalom? Ok, here I am....see the fear?

I did both - started out double skis but graduated to slalom pretty quickly. I was all over the place :) Wow, I can imagine what a workout that would be now - LOL!

I will have to see if I can dig up a picture :D I wasn't afraid of the camera back then... not til I gained weight  Yes, parents got a houseboat when I was in the seventh grade. We live right by the Mississippi and spent our summers there. They got a ski boat right away and we certainly made use of both :D I really do miss it, I grew up a river rat :D

Sweet.....love the River Rat. Watch alot of vids of River Runs, and have a sweet spot for Hydrostream speed boats, which are great for speed on the river. Almost bought one a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't agree on a price with the guy. Was just looking at La Crosse, looks like plenty of water around. I'm assuming thats part of the Mississippi (thats MI crooked letter, crooked letter.....oh sorry) The houseboat thing sounds like an on the water camping trip....nice!

It was nice, great memories :D Yes, we have plenty of water around here! Boating is definitely a lifestyle... I only wish parent's hadn't gotten out of it. They moved to a condo on the river at one point and once we all graduated and left home they didn't use it as much so they eventually just got out :(

Total bummer on that one, have your sisters continued at all with boating, and water sports?
