overweight and looking for the right weight loss exercise!

Post by rockergyrl »

I am 21 years old, 5 foot 3 inches, and weigh over 200 pounds. When I was in high school I was into sports and so that was excercise and I weighed 140pounds. But for three years I've been out of high school and gained over 100 pounds. I just started eating right about three months ago and lost 10 pounds.....but Its hard to find the right workout for me to lose all weight. Any advice on what I should do for losing the fat from butt, arms, stomach, and legs?

start with bodyweight stuff have a look at "your body is a barbell" in the refernce section and / or search "death by bodyweight" and use one of those programs for starters

hey

I really like RPM classes they can burn up to 850 calories in 45mins and you can work as hard as you like. I belive it works your legs, butt and your waist.

I works for me, you might like to try the classes. if your butt hurt dont give up and keep try it take a couple of weeks.

Let me know how you go.

Mel :)

Hello. Good job on lsoing the 10 pounds. How you eat is the most important factor in losing weight. For workouts a combo of resistance training and and cardio will work best. You can start with full body workouts, hitting each muscle group, 2-3 times a week. You can add cardio 3 days a week, starting with low intensity steady state and adding intervals in when you get in better shape.

Let me know if I can help more. :)
