I am 16 years old (female), about 5"4 and weigh 65kgs (I think that's about 143lbs). I'm carrying excess weight in lower body and really hoping to lose it and tone up. stomach, butt, legs and especially thighs are trouble spots. However, I would like to gain some strength in upper body. Currently I'm barely exercising at all. At the moment, I'm studying via long distance for one year, so while I'm studying during the day movement is generally sitting. I've been trying to start up daily exercise, but I just lose motivation and energy. I'm trying to formate a plan and set goals for myself so I stay motivated.
Can anyone suggest an exercise regime and eating plan?
Recently I have turned Vegetarian, but unfortunately I tend to snack alot on junk foods. (I am trying to curb the cravings

Breakfast: 2 (97% whole grain) Weet-bix with one banana and milk (sometimes have some strawberries mixed in)
Lunch: It varies from day to day. However I always try to incorperate a number of fruit and vegetables. Today I had a salad with tomato, lettuce, mushrooms, carrot, capsicum, cheese, celery. Or other days I might have a wholgrain sandwich.
Dinner: Mainly varieties of vegetables. Sometimes egg. Last night I had Vegetable Pasta.
Snacks: Even though I try to snack on fruits, it only happens sometimes. Much of the time it's unhealthy. Sometimes I might have a piece of toast, wholemeal crackers with cheese, etc.
I only drink water (sometimes juice) but I think I need to increase how much I drink.
Mainly I'm looking for an exercise plan, but if anyone can suggest improvements to diet, I'd appreciate it alot. Preferably exercises I can do at home as I don't plan on going to the gym. The only gym equipment I have is an exercise bike.
Thanks very much for any help!
