Hello,
I'm trying to completely change lifestyle, and need some dire help. I am considered borderline medically obese and am going into a profession that is very physically demanding. I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for workout routines that burn calories fast and can help me get a jump-start on life goal. Any help is gladly accepted! Thank you...
Help getting started!!!!!! Please!!!!

I think it partially depends on what you are looking for/what interests you. For example: in your job will you be lifting heavy objects? Will you be walking around a lot? I would look at what exactly your job requires of you and start focusing on that body part to get started and than work your way to the rest of your body. Everyone has different ways of exercising, but I am someone with a short attention span that get's bored quite easily (which is why things like gyms and running are not part of exercise routine). However I do martial arts which involves mostly lower body work, but you will get some awesome upper body workouts. What's always helped me with it is that you do a lot of different things so it keeps me from getting bored.

Keep in mind that diet is just as, if not more, important than exercise. Have you made changes to your diet?
Also, don't get too crazy with the exercise thing right off the bat if you're not accustomed to working out. You could easily injure yourself if you do. Ease into it slowly. For exercise a combination of weight training and cardio is best.
