Problems trying to consume higher calories!

Post by com34x »

I am 155 pounds 5' 9.5.

I am trying to bulk up before cutting down. I have made a good effort to get enough protein but understanding is that I need to consume many more calories.

The problem is I find myself literally getting sick from trying to force all this food or drinks down. I dont have a huge appetitie and I am the type that can go all day without eating if I wanted.

question for everyone is... Do I absolutely need to consume a lot more calories to grow in size? What if I am working out heavy, have sufficient protein, but overall consumption of calories is too low? Can anyone offer me any suggestions? If I cant consume enough protein to bulk up I may just give up and concentrate on lowering body fat percent instead.

Thanks Everyone!!!

Yes you did. I thought that maybe I had posted the message in the wrong section. Thanks for the last post. I decided to just cut down instead of bulking up. I have other medical issues and making that goal is much easier and better for me. Thanks again.
