Overeatters Anonymous???
I was just wondering if anyone here has ever attended any meetings or gave this program a try? I am considering trying it out, but really have no idea what to expect an feel a little nervous about going to a meeting?
Re: Overeatters Anonymous???
That does make perfect sense. Just gotta break the life time habit of eating all the junk.

That was great, I also loved the "Crap Pushers Letter"! Talk about story of life!!!! I'm doin great eating healthy staying on track, go out ONE day with friends and they push push push push... Eat pizza with us! Eat this cake with us! Fast food is easier let's just eat there!! I try to make stand no no and I will even just sit there an not eat if there are no healthy alternatives, an then it REALLY begins, they say, "You HAVE to eat something!" "If you dont cheat a little you will binge!" "You deserve it just have some!"..... CRAP PUSHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's hilarious, considering I do great until they start harping and pushing thier crap food on ME! .. just plain sabotage.....

She had a bodyspace profile linked on her site. I mean there's no question she looks good at 42, but one or two little things for me, would be that the implants look a litte unflattering, possibly because in humble opinion, she looks a little bit wirey, so they stick out a little too much. Kind of like a Marathon runners body, with a better 6-pac and a couple of lbs more muscle.
That's not meant to be rude, because I can admire what she's achieved and I think she can be cited as a potential rolemodel to others, but I think with another 4-5 lbs of muscle, she'd look a little more healthy. She looks like someone who's on the cusp of getting "eat more food", type of comments, or "you poor thing", kind of glances from people. One of those borderline things, where good conditioning can look great, if you don't go a little too low on the weight, then you start to detract slightly from the look.
She can certainly be proud of her achievements and I hope other people take notice, because you DON'T need to force yourself to puke, do 10 hours a week of Treadmill and consume 400 calories a day, to look like her.
So true though about suck it up, do the training, eat the food type stuff. If you're a female with 12-15% and a lean, strong body, should you necessarily have a beef about Asparagus spears and Broccoli and boiled Skinless Chicken, just because it isn't Curried Beef, or Lamb Casserole instead, if it all helped you to look that good.
However that's the female critique of their bodies. Often a little too harsh in opinion. Maybe history has instilled in a lot of females, the urgency to look good at all times, but some do unnecessarily lambast themselves sometimes, for little imperfections and anomelies and when you see someone who looks healthy and beautiful, carping on about 1/4 cm of love handle on each side, as if it pains them to look at them, I do just want to say, don't be so hard, learn to appreciate, because the worry and stress will make things worse. That last lb of weight isn't worth the potential upset. Don't be hung up on magical targets. It doesn't have to be all about spot on the money round numbers. Be 111lbs and enjoy it

Hey, Boss, that is number! 111 lbs when I got on that scale this morning even after a lengthy break. Still not perfect but I will take it! I see what you mean about her physique. If that is what 15% would look like on me then I will keep 25%!! Bring on the ice cream!!!

Re: Overeatters Anonymous???
Trust me, you do not need to worry about the way you look.
45 is the new 35
