i dont do running on a treadmill .. i'm alot more motivated in the outdoors, luckily i live on a mountain, and i get a good warm up walkin up this inclined road, then i run on the hill, which is about 95% leveled, but includes slight inclines and declines
there is no excuse for running outdoors, if u can run indoors, u can run out, listen to music, run with a pal, wink at the ladies and smile, its alot better then running with a damned screen infront of u for 20 minutes
yeah, the 30seconds thing sounds like an awesome exercise, its almost like HIIT
question:
is there a difference between doinng HIIT 30 secs as hard 30 as easy, and a block hard then a block easy?
because by doing it according to time, you're covering alot less distance walking compared to the distance u covered when sprinting..
which is better?

you want to be holding the fastest you can so if a block is 500m than your pacde will be slower but if it's 30secs than you may cover 300 - 400m which will make your overall speed higher...you can always do 1 - 2 sprint sessions a week which is a better option coupled with 1 - 2 of these runs where you can go a block on / off because you've also dfone some harder faster stuff during the week
