This summer I want to implement a huge change in lifestyle by controlling food, working out several times a day, and boosting esteem mentally.
But I have no idea where to begin.
Suggestions?
Where do I start?

Firstly hit the Gym.
You'll probably find you get a basic routine. Which involves working the body all over 3x a week.
Each session would consists of around 2 groups of repetitions, (sets), for each muscle group with around 8-10 reps per set.
This would last approximately 4-6 weeks, starting light and gradually building up the weight at the start of each week, to help you get used to the biomechanics of weight lifting.
You would also do some cardiovascular stuff, probably steady state for starters, (cardio that maintains a consistent cadence and intensity), which would last around 20-30 minutes on around 2-3 of the non-lifting days, or possibly after the weight sessions, but better you train five days a week really so you don't have a lot of sedentary days, and perhaps overdo it on the training days.
It would look a little like this.
Day 1. Weights
Day 2. Cardio
Day 3. Weights
Day 4. Day off
Day 5. Cardio
Day 6. Weights
Day 7. Day off.
This kind of system would stop you training 5 days straight and stop you having two back to back days at the end, eating into progress.
As for the diet, what times of the day do you eat and what kind of meals do you eat?

Re: Where do I start?
Hi there,
Good for you for wanting to make some positive changes to your lifestyle!
You start by changing your eating habits and implimenting regular exercise (cardio and weights) into your daily routine. What does your current diet look like? Post an example of a typical day for you. Also, what are you doing for exercise? What kind of exercise can you do? Do you have access to weights? A gym?
This should get us started... let us know what youre currently doing and we'll go from there to offer suggestions.
