It can be tough to get all your water in - especially when you are busy! I struggle with that some days too.

Re: Ironwill's workout log
Hey, hows it going. Wow what a week, work schedule got changed last minute, so haven't had the pc time I'm used to, plus things at home have been hectic. Ahhh....we won second place in our VB final. Great games beat them one game by 10 pts. but just couldn't pull it out. Definately not best day, but had fun, and everyone said they enjoyed the season. All said they wanted to play with us again in the Fall, except one who wants to return, but may not to due to health issues. I hope everyone is doing gr8, and yes, I've got tons of catching up to do, thank God gr8 schedule has returned for this coming week. Took a week off then back at it this week.
Mon. 5-3-10
Squat--10x65, 135/12,9,6
Flat Bench--135/12,9,6 with
Seated close grip row--140/12,9,9
Upright Row--65/12,12,12 with
Lat Pulldown--110/8,7,6
Took it easy, as first day back.
Thurs. 5-6-10
Mil. Press--65/12,12,12
Pull-ups--BW/5,5,5
Incline Bench--120/9,11,10
Wide Grip Row--110/12,10,10
Front Squat--65/7,7,7
SDL--135/7,7,5
Long day at work doing maintenance outside, not usual sit-down job.....
Lowest weight so far--186.0 Diet has been a little off, as breaks were a little more structured, normally I can eat whenever I want.

Re: Ironwill's workout log
Glad your VB season went so well
Do you just play in the spring and fall or do you have a summer league as well?
The nice thing about the structured work day is that you tend to have a more structured diet once you get used to it - I do bad on weekends because I have no structure then!

huh...wrote this once, then went to log in, and it erased it.......
We play some beach, Barbie does more than I do, as she has a couple of leagues. She popped (like prob small tear) her hammie in our game last Sunday, then injured it again Thurs. night. That girl refuses to quit. I think she has her first beach game tomorrow night. Black and blue on the back of her leg, and all. I just play pick-up, show up pick a partner, and play.

Re: Ironwill's workout log
She should consider laying off for a week or two with that Hamstring issue.
At the least, RICE it between games.
Rest, Ice, compression, Elevation. Icing it for around 3-4 times a day, for 15 minutes a time.
If she over taxes that thing when it's already less tolerant, it could become a really serious issue.

Ouch! Well, I hope you can convince her to stay off of it for awhile to let it heal!

Re: Ironwill's workout log
Hey!! The guy who runs the leagues re-arranged the schedule so she won't have to play for 3-4 weeks, so that is good. Open day playing beach on Sun. at 2pm if anyone is interested......feelin-great wrote:Ouch! Well, I hope you can convince her to stay off of it for awhile to let it heal!

Re: Ironwill's workout log
Hey thanks, weight hit 184.8 yesterday. Missed a few workouts letting back and shoulder rest. Back has never been an issue for me, hoping it doesn't start now. I gotta catch up on when ur next show is.......lareinamae wrote:Hiiiiiiiiiii! Just getting all caught up on your journal! You're doin great, buddy!!!!![]()
