HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!

Post by DR3w_5m17h1989 »

I AM NEW TO FITRACKER, IVE BEEN LIFTING FOR NOTTOO LONG NOW, MAYBE 3 MONTHS? I JUST WANTED TO FIND A GOOD RESOURCE FOR EXERCISE/WEIGHT LIFTING TIPS, AND I THOUGHT ID CREATE A PROFILE. IS THERE ANYONE HERE FAMILIAR WITH ACAI OR CREATINE? I USE BOTH, AND WANTED TO KNOW IF IM USING THEM ACCORDINGLY. DIET CONSISTS OF MOSTLY FIBERS FROM GREEN VEGGIES, PROTIENS FROM CHICKEN, AND OTHER LEAN MEATS, TUNA ETC. I WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING MORE I COULD BE DOING TO MAXIMIZE THE EFFECTS OF WHAT I AM TAKING! THANKS!

In brief. Acai is mainly a B.S. product I feel. The benefits might be okay, but it's hyped to hell and probably over exaggerated on some benefits.

If the diet is good and your weight is pretty good and lean then Creatine will be okay, but you're relatively new to lifting, I.E. less than 1 year, you probably don't have enough strength and power, to get the resutls for your money, so don't bother with Creatine in that case.

great! thanks for the advice guys. is it cool if i add you? oh and one more thing...well, more than one more thing. hah! um what about 100% whey protein? should i be using that-could i be using that? i mean, would it benefit me in any ways? and what are some inexpensive diet plans? I'm looking to gain muscle, and lose some body fat. I'm pretty lean as it is, but still trying to get those abs to push through. thanks guys! :D

Take the Protein after workouts if you like.

If it has Carbs then fair enough. If it doesn't have Carbs add something like Crushed Oats as an example.

Use water, as Milk increases viscocity, calories, Casein and Enzyme production, as you'll need a Lactase Enzyme to digest the Galactose part of the Lactose Sugar.

If it tatses a bit funny, add something like a bit of Honey, Vanilla Essence, ground Ginger, ground Nutmeg or Cinnamon and see how that works out.

You don't need to really avoid any foods, but there are some things to consider.

1. Fish Contains Mercury, Cadmium and Lead. These are not good at high and prolonged levels. As Omega 3 sources will eventually cause partial conversion of the Alpha Linolenic Acid into DHA and EPA, you don't need Fish Fat, because of this. Limit low Mercury stuff to moderate portions and higher Mercury stuff to 1-34 times a week.

2. Aboid things that might cause you allergic reactions, I.E. Wheat, Gluten, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soy. If you're okay with those then fine.

3. Don't have massive amounts of High GI Carbs, I.E. Watermelon, Parsnips, Rice, Pasta, Raisins, Currents, Sultanas, Dates, Potato. limt them, or you can mix then with a 75%-50% ratio of lower GI ones like Tomatos, Broccoli, Cashews, Beans etc, so they make up ay most half.
