I have to try to please everyone in the household. He likes potato chips with his sandwich. hubby and son are not on "diet plan" and therefore eat different food than I do. son loves his Pringles sour cream & onion. I have added alot more fruits and veggies... son tells me he is the only one at school lunch time that has fresh fruit and veggies in his lunch - all the other kids order from the school lunches, but end up begging him for his lunch - or stealing his fruit when he isn't looking.Bonnie wrote:Just a question but if you are set on eating healthy, why on earth is your husband eating chips ?

Yeah, this whole low carb thing is really affecting running and overall diet. Not sure it is the best thing for me. To be honest, I'm totally confused now about what to eat, not to eat. I want to lose fat, so I'm trying to eat less fat, so body will burn what I have on me. But then I try to eat less carbs so that excess carbs don't store on me as fat - see?Lesplease wrote:I can always tell when I don't eat right or get all macros. Always bugs out workout.

Thanks Boss Man, I hadn't really thought of them as an asset before - always obsessing about their size. Once more you prove and point out a very important thing...we aren't all supposed to be built the same, we can't or shouldn't all have perfect (what ever that is!) body parts, and we should learn to look at our bodies as instruments of health - the outer shell we were given to help our inner self be as healthy as possible. calves, while they may be bigger than the average gal's, are strong, powerful - solid as a rock and will carry me through the rest of this life.Boss Man wrote:Keep them. The more powerful and solid they are the better.... just embrace them.
