Sandi--lol...yuh, a fair amount of exercise. I have to go to work to rest up, by wed. body is pretty beat. It was a gr8 family day, the boys were so fun to watch during the movie, with their glasses on. youngest was a lil scared, and kept taking his glasses off, as it does seem to bring things right up in ur face. Really impressed with the 3D. They saw Ironman2 advertised, and want to see it. I might take the oldest, but not the others. We have Ironman1 on DVD, and really like it. Its kinda far out, but almost believable, as in you think this kind of technology might be around at some point. Oh, Barb reminded me I had a hot choc/chip muffin yesterday, the boys were buggin' for some, so she made them. They popped out of the oven, and I dove into one....oh was it good. That was breakfast for years b4 making changes. Thanks for the support, and yes I try to avoid salt, on anything, its not really good for me, and I really don't like it that much, thankfully.

Geir--Yuh, beach is crazy workout. We play two people per side, so there's lots of area to cover, unlike indoor where you have six people per side. Really is a blast, good outdoors fun. Do you play at all?

Nokie--the boys want to buy the DVD also. Not sure its in 3D on DVD, but loved it in the theatre. I see why 3D is all the rage now. WAYYYYYYYYYY better than I was expecting.

I took son to see The Dragon movie too. We both loved it! Felt kinda weird (silly maybe) when i first put the glasses on, but hey, we were all wearing them, so no sense feeling dumb - just had fun with it. Love the 3D effects - we jumped back in our seats a few times!!
I agree with Sandi the weight was probably from the salt from the popcorn, and probably from the pizza too. But don't worry, you'll sweat it out on your next workout or VB game.
Speaking of VB games - i think you should take some pics of your games and post them - Would love to see you spiking that ball over the net man!! cool stuff. 8)
I think we may be going to see Ironman 2 also. But I haven't seen the first one yet - may have to rent it so I'll know more about what it is about. But the previews for Ironman 2 look good. :D I don't buy the popcorn at the movies or any drinks - A small coke is $4!!! That's criminal! I felt bad when I took son (thankfully he doesn't like popcorn), but I just didn't factor in how much it was gonna cost for treats. Even the movie tickets were more than I had planned for - since it was 3D it was an extra $3 per ticket. Movies are expensive these days - I can't imagine what it would cost to take the whole family - tickets plus drinks and food - egad!! $$$$$$$ :P

It's funny you should say that...we weren't allowed to take ours. They had a recycle bin outside of the theatre and there was a hand written sign taped to it from management that said something like "any one seen leaving with a pair of 3D glasses will be charged an addl. $8 fee." I mean what were they gonna do, search us all? Run us down and tackle us and yank those little plastic glasses out of our hands? It really irked me...I had to pay an extra 3 bucks for the 3D movie, I think I should own the glasses...who would want to wear some stranger's used glasses
anyway...eeewwww!

Hey Will!

How to Train your Dragon was a GREAT movie!!!! We took the kids (I'm actually the one who wanted to see it though, I must admit), and really enjoyed it. I cried...it was an emotional experience for me, as always with Disney movies. Then the kids and hubby made fun of me for being a big baby. I'm such a softy!

Popcorn and PIZZA!!!!? Hahahaha! I'd KILL for a pizza right now! J/K...

Keep it up WIll - You're doing great!

Thanks for all the support, I appreciate it, and it does motivate me, the more we talk about working out etc. the more I want to do it. Today, I did not feel like hitting the gym, butt has been draggin' all day, but I did, and like always once I got in there, I really enjoyed it. The FB seems to get me mentally, as I think about all the bodyparts I have to work, but body likes it, if I keep mind out of it....usually thinking with ur body, instead of ur brain is a bad thing....

Lynne--We all loved the movie. It was a matinee at $4, and the glasses were $1 extra, and they had a gal right at the door grabbing the glasses, was kinda funny. I think they told her to make sure she showed some attitude.... They said they have to sanitize them after every use, that must be a pain. The boys had tickets from Christmas, with soda/p-corn included, so that helped. Barb and I was $10, plus like $5 for our med. corn/soda, that we shared. So overall cheap day out. I should get a pic of the VB, it probably doesn't look nearly as impressive, as I make it sound. In mind its amazing.....lol.

Nokie--you took the glasses......... Ok...tell the truth did you darken them, and wear them to the mall..... 8)

Lareina--ahhh I'll never tell who was the emotional one at the movie..... Not rally sure why either, kind of a cute lil boy meets girl story inside, and the whole wounded pet thing, maybe. A lil dose of reality when he lost his foot, I didn't expect that.

Mom is keeping the boys for a sleepover, so we're going to see Clash of the Titans, Barbies dying to see it.

Wed. 4-21-10

Weight--188.0

Are scale is only about a month old, but going to assume there is some error. Gain 2 lbs. in a day, then lose 2. Maybe, its water retention/release. Overall though....weight dropping.

I'll let it slide this time... :D

Same here, 65ish, I'm at work (which is where I catch up on the journals - haha!) But as beautiful as it has been, I am praying for rain - we need it soooo bad - this is the driest rainy season I remember...
