I'm not, but it is SO hard and I feel like I'm losing all the muscle strength I worked so hard to build upldematto wrote:I feel your pain with aching back and arm...it's so hard when your body betrays you like that...stay with it, but don't take any chances of hurting yourself further
Thanks Noosk! I don't think 145 is unrealistic for you - I started at 177 lbs.Noosk wrote: goal is 145 too (not sure if mine is realistic though given current weight)...but a girl can dream.
Hope your arms starts to heal soon!
That's awesome!!! Keep up with the running!fitoverforty wrote:5.3 mile early a.m. outdoor run. Felt FANTASTIC! Had a couple days rest, so I was bursting with energy and felt like I was flying! At the first 3 miles I noticed I was ahead of last weeks 3 mile run time by over 90 seconds! And still had plenty of energy to go over 2 more miles.![]()

Planning on doing a kickbox workout this evening, maybe take it easier on the back kicks - I think that is what caused the back issues. And i'll do the punches without the handweights - hopefully won't aggravate elbow...
Thanks LaReina, I'm glad you like it. It just came to me yesterday - maybe I should make it into a bumper sticker, or put it on a t-shirtlareinamae wrote:"So, when you think about it...dreams are just goals we haven't said out loud yet.... "
I REALLY like that, Lynne! It really sums it up, doesn't it!!?
Great motivations! You are very inspirational to mefitoverforty wrote:I read that and look at the photos and remember why I'm doing all this - the goal, the prize, the dream to finally be the best I can be physically - to look in the mirror and say "Yes!" I like what I see - to be able to run and race competitively, knowing I gave it absolute best - and enjoy all the benefits of good health - to be a good role model for son - to finally be "me" and have the body I'm supposed to have so that I am able to do the things I want to do - no more regrets, no more excuses, no more quitting - just living the dream and finally saying it OUT LOUD!!
