Shoulder issues
Does anyone know of the names of the exercises used to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles. I know how to perform them, but a friend of mine says they are "bunk" and wants to look them up. I have tried telling him that they are actual exercises and that they have helped me recover from having both shoulders dislocated at the same time. Can anyone send me a link to them so I can show this moron of a friend what they are and how they help?

Re: Shoulder issues
I have worked as an exercise therapist for 20 years. The protocol we use which is standard to physical therapy are called the Three p's. This stands for Pivotors, Protectors and Positioners. Some of the individual exercises are scaption, horozontal abduction, horozontal abduction in neutral position, external rotation, internal rotation, etc. Shoulder press and face pulls are also effective when done correctly. They can be performed with lt. dumbbells or resistance bands.
