What is the best way of losing baby ?
I have been cleared to do low impact cardio and weights also pilates and yoga (I am 9 weeks post on wed). I had a caesarean and lots of other complications. I am still carrying some water retention round tummy (it is making bowel stick out slightly - just above button). tummy muscles (rectus abdominis) are either side of the bulge of bowel. I am currently doing low impact cardio, things like cycling, walking (4.5/5 miles an hour) on all terrain, rebounding and swimming. I am currently doing pilates and ashtanga yoga for core strength. I am now starting to introduce heavier weights into strength workouts as well. Is there anything else I can be doing? I can't do any high impact work until I have been cleared to do so by the consultant.

Hi Brightlight. Congratulations on the birth of your baby!
From what you described, it sounds like you are on the right track, exercise-wise. If you're nursing, you need an additional 200-500 more quality calories than non-nursing moms. I found it easier to get back to pre-pregnancy figure by nursing and it definitely is good for the baby, though it's a personal decision each woman must make based on her own circumstances. advice is to be patient with your body--it has done an incredible job this past year. Try to get plenty of rest (usually the hardest part of the post-partum period) and sound nutrition. Pilates and yoga are great choices for strengthening your core and your cardio program sounds great, too. If you lifted weights before and/or during pregnancy, your strength and lean muscle mass will return once your body is ready. Enjoy your new baby gir/boy!
